you can get a wood board for like 50 bucks or even less if you want a piece of crap. but a foam core waveriding board will start at about 125 for a zap wedge and can go up to 450 for an exile carbon

these are not fiberglass boards anyway, these are just wooden plyboards glazed with either epoxy or polyester resin to make it waterproof. 4-8 TIMES AS HEAVY AS AS A FOAM BOARD!!!!!

kahit anzahl pa gamit ng paint mo kung di naman maganda ang design..balewala din un.. ung layering ko is wood - thin resin-polyester body filler -paint and design-clear resin.. for the design pwede din ung vinyl sticker na lang since nasa ilalim un ng clear resin.. the reason why may thin layer ako sa fiberglass is for the protection of the wood kung sakaling masira na ang body filler...

Thanks... the 3rd national skimboarding competition last April 8 -- 11 was a success but the waves weren't that good till the final day I think. There were 108 entries for the men's open from Luzon, Visayas & Mindanao. 12 competitors from Argao, Cebu... 10 for the men's open and each for the women's open and grommet category.

sa video an 'to, minasilya lang & paint ang gamit na boards..Fiberglass will help strengthen your board. waterproof so anywhere you put this on your board it will keep the water out. It is much tougher than paint. Paint will wear off much quicker. Even if the paint scratches or wears off, if you have fiberglass underneath then it's still waterproof. With just the paint, the wood is exposed if it gets scratched, and this leads to water getting into your board.. madaling masira
