If someone has 2 fat 48" 40watts tubes, 2 skinny 48" 32watts tubes, and 2 23watt cfls... Can they get a decent grow to harvest if they placed 2 tubes over the plant, 2 tubes within the plant (in between some internodes half way down the plant, and the cfls supplimenting darker areas. I am wanting 2 females to use this technique on (about two feet wide bushes, but don't want to buy seeds if my lights won't work. Btw, can I buy over 100 watt fluorescent tubes and use them in my tube holders?

you should have given them a little night time cycle every now and again. it allows the plant to rest and can result in bigger leaves and buds if your plant has them. I did it and achieved some good results. Not saying do it every night but once a week or every few days it helps the plant cool down and cycle the food it produces for that day.

u can actualy just leave yer lights on 24 hours while the plants are in veg. from seed to 12on 12off..moving yer light closer would tighten up the spacing between nodes! just a tip :)

@firretrrucck980 i have noticed with indica x sativa belends tend to come out with more 9 node leaves and can have big lankey leaves like a sativa ? atm im growing a indica strain mystery seed but 100% sure its indica as the growth is really slow that n the fact i sprouted 3 weeks before the last frost lol but other then that topped her last week shes getting much more bush on her but i think she may have 20% sativa due to my leaves are lighter green then a usueal indica plant ?

24 hour light starting at the fourth week? Put on 24 hour light from the begging. Drop best DRY seed into moist miracle grow potting soil, do not bury it just push it in so its almost half buried, put TWO regular energy saving 100 watt(actually burns 23 or so watts) 2 to 4 inches above soil. At 1 month they seem to be almost twice as lush, more and bigger leaves and branches, though I did FIM. My main stem is probably 3 times thicker. Not trying to knock these plants, still pretty.

Are the 2 Florescent lights the only ones you use? Cause they aren't very effective at growing, even up close. I suggest a 600watt around 12 inches from the top or so. Or a 1000watt (but you would need a bigger grow room i think)

Anyways i hope those 2 aren't the lights you used or are still using. Your outdoor grow should be good though, as outdoors always produces epic size yields.

Nice plants man! shame about the tune but we all have a volume control so no prob.

Growing from seed with trail and error I have found you get better plants on 18/6 instead of 24hr. Takes a little longer but plants grow in the dark as well as the light. Try it out.

Isn't it obvious that a 12 inch plant at one month wont be the same height as a strain that grows 15 feet. I've watched probably 30 full length grow videos and read close to 50 grow books. Yeah the grow area looks like shit. But the light was as efficient as I could afford, and I used the best nutrients possible. These are from seed, just grown properly.

Dude, it's impossible to estimate until you've had direct experience with a particular strain. It depends on many, many various factors. Not the least of which include type of lighting, amount of lumens/watts, light penetration, light cycle, genetics, soil composition, aeration, nutrition, pests, etc etc etc
