  • Thank you for sharing this video. All I had was an avocado & a lot of other you tuber added coconut milk to there's. But I do plan on add alov vera juice to mine.

  • could castor oil take the place of the jojoba oil? Would it work just as well?

  • Hello Lady! Thank you for an informative and amazing vid. I am from the caribbean and I just love avocadoes but never used it as a deep conditioner. I will be trying this soon. Oh and the hair style was simply beautiful Thanks!

  • you makeup to much

  • is the red hair your natural hair

  • what did u use to colour ur hair

  • you have very pretty hair ( this is not a boy, this is his sister lol)

  • Hi, I love watching your videos and I was wandering if you could probably tell me how do I get the "afro" out of my natural hair. I mean I watch your videos and your hair always has a curl pattern all the way to the end before you put anything on it. Is there something I could use on my ends so that I don't have that "afro" after washing it? Thanks

  • Very cute! I will try the avocado conditioner :)

  • I suscribed. I actually saw your videos a long time ago before I decided to go natural and I was really impressed at your curls and how you take care of your hair. Keep up the good work! Go natural! <3

  • Did you blend the entire avacodo or did you peel it first?

  • Wow, nothing special?! I love it! :D

  • i dont have enough strength to put the avocado in my hair and not turn it into guacamole and eat it,

  • your pretty and so is your hair :)

  • OMG I love your makeup!!! I am trying to embrace that girlie girl that is trapped inside and everytime she sees makeup and hair flowers, scarves, etc. I can't help but smile and get motivated to go for it even more. i mean haters hate, that's their job so maybe I should make it a little easier for them?

  • i'm gonna try this

  • i going to try this this saturday.

  • Cute

  • lol u sure that avocado was good? the ones where i live are usually a light green color. lol

  • @TatianaLive1 lol

  • I have a relaxer, I made my mask out of avocado, honey and olive oil. I had read about all of these in an article and just decided to look it up online. I put it on my dry hair and let is stay on for 5-6 or more hours. I have washed it and conditioned it with Nioxin. I now have it wrapped to let it air dry.

I like the way my hair felt once I put the mask on. I will be doing it again. I want to go natural but my head it BIG and I am not sure of the shape to cut it all short. LOL

  • I am soooo ready to try this. I just purchased my ingredients today. I'm hoping for a good turn out

  • sprinkle of lemon juice keeps the avocado from turning brown.. but i dont know it lemon juice is good for hair.

  • @PRETTYDIMPLES01, ive been natural for two years, but i cant seem to find anything to lay my edges down.. Ive tried the slick stick, jam, everything...any suggestions?

  • @latasha3450 edges by olive oil or just only perm yur edges

  • I know this video is old, but you do know that avocado is a protein treatment...right? I was looking at your ends and it seemed like few knots were coming lose. It was a good thing you did this treatment. Not to mention it really define the curls if you have done the finger comb method. LOL

  • thanks for posting your vid! I do a weekly overnight avocado & pressed coconut oil treatment cold after a baking soda wash. A bit messy and smelly, it's my solution for dry hair.

  • Hi!

I'd just like to ask everyone if they felt their hair was very oily after using such a mask? After washing my hair I used an avocado with olive and jojoba oils. I rinsed it out (did not shampoo again) and my hair felt VERY oily. should i shampoo again? if so doesn't this wash away the nutrients that the avocodo just put into my hair.

    Thanks in advance

    From a natural newbe

  • how often do you use it and how long does the mix last.

  • can u use this on relaxed hair?

  • Beautiful make up! do u have a tutorial on it? and thanks for this video.

  • i loved this

  • We've got the same kind of hair and girl you are inspiring so many women to 'become' (actually return to) natural cuties! Keep up the fantastic work!

  • omg i so dont see y my hair wont stay soft..help how do u get ur hair tht soft jus keep conditioning

  • Prettydimples01 I love my shea butter I purchased from you. thanks.

  • @1uniquediva4u oh thats great. im glad you like it. :)

  • @PRETTYDIMPLES01 hey i want to purchase some from you... i have 3b.3c and 4a hair and i never used shea butter before really need some

  • my hair got totalled no thanks to the perming process. was always dried out and just really gross, i finally crossed a site about using avocados and decided to do my own :D every weekend i did a mix of avocado, extra virgin olive oil and an egg to strengthen hair ! works wonders!!

  • I love your videos! I always admired women with natural hair. I am now going to be transitioning from horrible dry damaged permed hair to lovely thick healthy hair! Have you ever done a video on how you do your eye makeup? Your eyes always look so beautiful!

I am so going to try this conditioner!

  • this is the best deep conditioner ever i saw kimmaytube do this also, and i have read many positive reviews about it on the longhaircareforum. when i did it myself my hair felt like heavev. i highly recommend it.

  • wow u have muscles

  • Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

  • thanks for the treatment regimen and styles!

  • you are so on point, do you have your own business?

  • I think I will do this when I get home. .Avocados are supposed to be bright green on the inside, and when they are "overripe" they will be brown/gray (some people have no problem eating them that way though). I imagine taste doesn't matter since its going on my hair. Thanks for the vid!

  • that's so pretty

  • do you ever have problems with shrinkage? I remember you saying you had 4a/4b hair and I do too but I seem to have a lot more shrinkage than you or do you do something to prevent this from happening?

  • @tcrawf8 i have shrinkage all the time. some have shrinkage more than others but that is part of being natural

  • How do you get ur edges so smoothed without them breaking off or thinning out???

  • Tha was really Cute!!!! Oh i wish i had your "good" hair.

  • I love my homemade avocado conditioner. I don't know why your avocado was that color but it's suppose to be a rich green inside. At most a little brown if tooo ripe. I do a similar mix and my hair really likes it.

  • girl u got guns!!!

  • so i should wash my hair first instead of using it as a pre wash...?my hair is thick and natural and ive been wanting to pre wash it and i want to know if i could do it with the avacado

  • will this conditioner work as well for people with relaxed hair like me?

  • You posted this a year ago! >:o

..Sorry for stating the obvious. Thanks for the video!

  • hey, ok i live in lubbock texas... i dont know if u know where that is but i dont thiunk if we carry jojoba oil. what else can i use...

  • SexyTyTy26- well you can always go online to order it. but if you have a GNC or a vitamin shop they should have jojoba oil. if not you can use more of the olive oil or coconut oil or any other oil you like

  • Thanks so much for that. Hope to see more hair video,,, Thanks again

  • Ive been natural for 3 years and I wonder how your hair looks so cute. Do you cut your hair in a style? The top seems longer than anywhere else and it just looks great in every video. Basically what im trying to say is... can you cut my hai?!?!?!?

  • I have a question. Should you I guess oil your scalp with coconut oil or any oil? Or is putting oil directly on the scalp a bad thing?

  • Well I've trying every week to do my hair on my own and every time I do nothing seems to come out right. I think maybe I just don't have the skills... I just can't get my hands to work the way I want them to and I'm sick off allowing other people to do my hair when they don't know much about treating PNH all they do is add heat and pull out my dang hair .... I really need help.. I'm like so having a bad hair day :0]

  • I love the fro but when i tried it on my hair it didnt come out like that, how do you fro it and keep the difinition, my hair just looked like a twist set.

  • You're hair looked really pretty while it was in the twists.

  • nothing special and ur hair looks so wonderful? lol well i wish my hair looked nothing special like urs lol

  • great tips prettydinples! thank you!

  • i used to use Dr. Bronners for years. it's a great cleanser (body & hair), but not a moisturizer if you already have very dry skin (it's also used as a houselhold cleanser).

Since I eat avocados daily with my salads, I try your conditioner recipe, but will subsitute the jojoba with my coconut oil. Thx, and your hairstyle at the end looked great.

  • Comment removed

  • I love that style I can't wait till my hair is long enough to do that.

  • what do u consider your hair type to be?

  • dang she have muscle

    hihi

  • maybe she wants a darker skin tone. Why are you so sensitive? Maybe you should patrol you tube for people that actually say hateful stuff. Instead of wasting your time snapping on compliment!

  • I don't think verleidelijk1 was necessarily being "sensitive". he/she made a valid point, that's all. this is a hair video, therefore, what place does "hi i like ur very dark skin i'm mixed btw" have, seriously? blynlady's comment was irrelevant and a little on the strange/weird side like many youtube comments.

  • beautiful sistah with wonderful hair

  • I like her hair towards the end it looks nice

  • very nice!! u do the prettiest hairstyles!

  • your skin is very beautiful!!!!! the color is pretty!! i love it!!! i'm mixed :)

  • who cares if ur mixed? what does that have to do with anything?

  • because i'm mixed and i LOVE her very black skin. she's beautiful :).

  • jealous? no...

i'm mixed myself hun, there was just no point in u mentioning that at all! if ur gonna compliment her skin just do so and leave it at that. this video is about conditioner y do u have to make it about race?

  • I agree

  • How do you use the Dr. Bronner's shampoo? Do you dilute it?

  • I use the same thing to wash my hair, and i dont dilute it. i love it

  • Nice hair! And how often do you do this avocado conditioner on your hair.

  • @wldchrry69 It says, in write RIGHT NEXT TO HER that she does it every OTHER week.... Pay attention people...lol

  • DeviousBarbiedoll89- lol good one

  • I love your hair......so pretty

  • She is just soooooooo pretty!

  • I just tried this on my hair I will let you know my results. Thanks for the tip.

  • do you put this conditioner in after you shampooed your hair or did you put in on non-washed hair, then shampooed after?

  • gorgeous end result! and i love your eye makeup!!

  • i'm gonna to try this. let u know how it turns out. your hair looks very nice. i saw one of your videos before. they are very helpful

  • have you ever tried adding egg to it it really good

  • yes, thats true. I added egg and castor oil to the avocado and it makes the hair soft and shiny. I love it.

  • do u workout?? your arms look great??

  • do u use any other conditioners to balance out the level of protein n moisture during the month.

Or, do u just stick with this regimen once a week for your deep conditioning method?

  • oh i am just wondering it looked like more hair

  • Avocado turns brown when left out (or in the fridge)....

  • Always wanted to try this! I'll give it a try pretty soon. Thanks for sharing!

  • Hi! I love love your videos.

What did you use to pull your hair back like that.... did you use a stocking?

  • chaingirl995- no

  • her hair is 100% natural

    are you blind

  • make-up looks cute!!

  • You are awesome!! Thank you so much for all your wonderful videos.

  • Your hair is so beautiful!!!!

  • Love your hair and accessories! I've done this once and Im about to do again tonight. I haven't seen anything different from my regular conditioning, but I wont give up just yet. Thanks!

  • Love the hairstyles at the end! Your hair definitely looked rejuvenated.

  • did the avocado deep conditioning!!!!!now dats heaven to ur hair especially for me( 5mo transitioning) two textures r working me but will be doing this again. keep the videos coming and the encouragement

  • I tried this conditioning treatment this evening. I left it on my hair for about 1 1/2 hours. I did the ingredients exact except I added a little bit of lemon juice as one poster suggested to keep it green. You can tell when the avocado is all out of your hair because the water will rinse clear and not a green tint. I two straid twisted my hair while damp. My hair was soft. I had one area that felt really dry and it felt moisturized afterwards. I plan on doing this treatment once a week.

  • is this considered a light protein ??

  • Gosh, I must've watched all of your vids, you're incredible! I just decided to transition, I have a long way to go. How do you store your conditioner and for how long?

  • i love your videos u r soooo helpful thanks girl

  • Did you say you blow dried your hair then twisted it? What'd you use to pull your hair back into the ponytail? For "challenged" folks like myelf I need step by step directions.

  • do you peel the skin off the avocado of leave it on?

  • you have to spoon the avocado out of the skin.

  • the avocado turn brown after it hits the air ...oxidation ....next time try putting a lil bit of lemon juice in some tap water then placing the avocado in it for a sec ..this will keep the avocado green ....

  • your videos are very helpful im starting to take care of my hair and save money at the same time im into natural ingredients. I just did the aphogee treatment. i recently bought some products that was recommended to me avocado conditioner and a mayonaise treatment, it makes my hair soft i have coarse hair. thinking about growing my texturizer out but it seems harder to maintain my hair without any chemical because it becomes hard to comb manage..

  • Do you know the length of your hair grew euery since you use this treatmeant?

  • HELP!!! Do u have any tips for shedding hair. Mine sheds very bad i need suggestions before I loose it all. i have fine thin hair.

  • Di d u peel the avacado or just blended the whole thing?

  • BlakkCherri3- i peeled it first

  • Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us Nat's, it's very informative & inspirational. Please keep doing what you do ;)

  • u`re so cute..i love your hair and yours especially...i have straight brown hair and i`m from europe

  • You have gorgeous hair and your making me love being natural. LOl! good video I guess it worked.

  • did u blow dry your hair before you put it in the twists

  • bjonesdearly- yes

  • Do you like this better than the Aphoghee?

  • AfroLady352- it a totally different kind of conditioner. the aphogee is protein and the avocado is for moisture so i still use both

  • Your last photo definitely shows your Native American blood.

  • your eyes look nice! do you have any make-up tutorials?

    bwt...avocado is great!

  • CinnamonSunChip- yes i have a few

  • Either I'm slow and can't follow directions, my blender sucks, or the avocado wasn't ripe enough but my conditioner (if you can even call it that) was a hot clumpy mess. I blended, pureed, liquified, chopped, and everything you could possibly imagine and it still was disastrous. How on earth did you get yours so creamy?

  • badgirl780- lol maybe it is your blender b/c i do the same thing. did you add water to it too?

  • I added water. I'm thinking it's time to replace the blender. I'm ticked my "conditioner" was such a waste.

  • badgirl780- you could still use it. it maybe harder to wash out but i wouldn't throw it away. or if you have a hand blender you could use that

  • Girl I didn't throw that away! lol I refuse to waste a $1.50 avocado, grapeseed oil from a bottle that cost $7.99 for 4.0z, and & $4.99 jojoba oil. I was picking out chunks for hours. I'm sure there's still some left but I'm too lazy to keep looking. All I can say is LESSON LEARNED. Walmart here I come for a new blender

  • badgirl780, I just bought an avocado at an international supermarket in my area and it was .89 cents. I did spend a dollar and something for the one I used today. Now there were 2 different kinds there. The other one was $1.50. Not sure what the difference is as they only had the price advertised and nothing else. You can check at an international store if you have one in your area for a cheaper avocado.

  • ive found that if u wait for the avocado to get mushy to the touch, where u squeeze it and u can feel it squeeze, then it will blend much better, too firm and it will stay firm no matter what u do lol

  • LucisousLollipop0809 (kinda weird calling someone that) haha I did it again this Sunday and it turned out very creamy. I think the 1st one wasn't ripe enough.

  • That style in the last picture, how do you get that look. It doesnt look like a regular pony tail?...

  • phatemommy- my hair was blown out dry and i twisted them wet and i put it in a puff using an old stocking leg.

  • CHOCOLATE PUDDING!!!!! xD

  • Comment removed

  • how do you get your hair that color? Do you have to strip the color before you dye it red?

  • thanks it realy works!

  • i luv ur hair

  • you have so many different creams, lotions, shampoos/conditioners sprays, etc. for your hair. I wonder how much it all adds up to, but most of all it's overwhelming for me. I don't know where to begin. Was it just trial and error and how do you decide which to use on your hair at any given time?

  • Great questions Natural Sunshine, I was thinking the same. Because I am lazy with my hair and all those products will drive me nuts.

  • This is one of my favorite conditioners- better than some high end conditioners. Except instead of water, I use coconut milk and just olive oil and just mash it all up without using a blender. I also use it as pre shampoo treatment and leave on for a few hours. It's divine.

  • ooo, i'm gonna try that, thanks

  • your hair is gorgeous!

  • Love the look at the end!! Really feeling those earrings!!

  • i love your hair...beautiful. i want it. now..

  • lol

  • have you tried the coconut creme relaxer...i saw it on freeworship video ans thatgirl5 video but its like a deep conditioner that helps elongates your kinks or curls ?

  • nice love your make up

  • Wow, the final results...the whole look..is to do die for! Beautiful!

  • You're so pretty! Love the make-up.

  • divalicious! that's my favorite style, it is special!

  • You are so helpful! I have two things to say:

    1. I did the avocado in my hair last night and my curls were very elongated, but my hair felt brittle. I did the same thing as you except I used castor, olive oil and honey with it. Did I do something wrong? Also I came across someone on the net that says she uses a foam soap dispenser with her Dr. Bronner's and it uses a third of the soap! I tried and it works wonders because of the consistency. Just thought I'd pass it on. Thanks again!

  • cakesaplenty- well thank you. but you avocado was different then mine b/c i didn't have those other things in them, so i don't know maybe it was just a bad combination. my hair didn't feel brittle. sorry i don't know what to say.

  • ur eye make up is pretty..luv ur hair

  • I have mixed hair but I don't think I could do twists like that! : /

  • I love your hair. Texture is wonderful and I love the way it springs back when you pull it. I'm so jealous...LOL.

  • husband!!! u look like a teenager. lol u must get that alot.

  • lashanapridgen- lol yea and when i was a teenager people thought i was grown. lol

  • lol u did a hair treatment with make up.

  • OMG!!!!!! Your Twist Out AT The End Was Gorgeous.I really like the Idea of the conditioner and its all natural ingredients I am in the market for a good conditioner to so Ill defiantly have to give this one a try thank you so much for the video peace

  • I loooooove this video (I say that about all of your videos, lol) I don't know what you did or if the cond. plumped your hair, but it was so full in the final shots, even the twist were plump and didn't have a "shrunken?" look to it. Your makeup, I watch a lot of your videos, NEVER the makeup, but I think I'm going to have to make an investment into some of your makeup tips, you face is FLAWLESS!!!!!

  • I used to use avocado plus egg mixture in my hair and also as a face mask. I dunno why I stopped!

Thanks for the video, can't wait to try your blend.

  • Off topic, I know, I know I;ve said it before, but I have to say it again.

    Your arms are beautiful!

The shape of your biceps is fantastic!

  • NOTHING SPECIAL, gurl you modest...i LOVE your hair x

  • I love the texture of ur hair...and the color is very cute..

  • It came out nice. i think i am going to try it.

    Thanks for sharing

  • I got so nervous when you started pulling those two peices of hir apart:-O

I get the most horrible knots that way!

  • luv ur videos and i have been thinking about going natural and through ur videos i have learned so much...........i went natural for about 1 1/2 years and it was great. i never wore my hair out only braids...micros and my hair grew so so much but i threw a perm in and eventually it got back damaged......lol my point is thanks and i think that i am going to go natural again
