I've learned alot about Russia in recent years. It's ironic ever since the end of the Soviet Union, and communist Russia as it once was, many Americans believe that Russia has become just like the United States, with freedom, democracy, etc. Although it's true that Russian is now much more like the United States than ever before, it is still very different in many ways. In other words, Russia isn't an exact replica of the United States just because they moved away from communism.

can anybody tell me why do russian trucks have their number plate written on the back of the vehicle with those big characters. like on 1:15. Why is that necessary?

It was a rule to dublicate numbers just for better seeing them. But this rule was removed since the 1st of July 2008 :)

@ninjavz Traffic jam in Lima can be bad but compared to bigger cities is a breeze, some cities like Moscow have traffic jam non stop till the evening arrives, Lima has traffic jam mostly during peak hours, Im a driver in Lima but ill never been on a traffic jam to the point of actually leaving the car.

They should invest lots of money to public transport - New subway lines, tram tracks, bus lanes, commuter trains... preference system for public transport. Because mass transit is more ecological friendly and the most important think - ten times space effective...

You end up falling asleep everytime in the Moscow underground, but each station is beautiful and appeared to be filled with police. New York's is much dirtier and dangerous, so i hear.
