Barack Obama And George W Bush are puppets for the bankers. They are both scum. Obama is just a good actor. Please don't EVER put them in the same category as Michael Phelps.
seriously i mean i dont smoke weed and i dont hate it but like wat ever god makes is not or will never be a mistake if he decided to make marijuana then it was there for a reason heres a sayin i heard "God made marijuana Man made alchol who do u trust?" thats all i gotta say.
The truth about my marijuana habit is that I'd smoke a hell of allot less if I could go to the store and purchase 1 joint when I wanted to smoke, instead I have to buy a whole bag from the guy down the street and end up smoking the whole dam thing to get rid of the shit so I don't get caught with it. Maybe I should just start pissing on under-aged girls like R.Kelly, this type of behavior seems to be condoned.
Completely agree with your opening comments. I disagree, however, with your contention that Harry J Anslinger did not use a provocative propaganda campaign to frighten Americans into believing that marijuana allowed Blacks and Mexicans to corrupt their youth; and of course that it would drive people to all manner of depravity and eventually insanity. All said, you make some good points. I decided to remain neutral in rating you as a result.
the republicans had better figure out the size of the voting block that wants the war on weed to end or the democrats will win from now on, just the truth you might not like it but many want this war on the poor and working class to end.
I've got a bit of libertarian in me and I've always wanted a serious discussion in this country about legalizing relatively harmless practices (e.g. marijuana, prostitution, etc.).
And, I admit, the War on Drugs hasn't worked. At least the part about locking up small time users. I guess going hard after dealers/distributors is still necessary though.
Of course, we have an entire department of the government whose existence depends on the illegality of such drugs. So, what are the odds of the "drug war" ever being won?
Worse, the real violence in northern Mexico results specifically from our laws.
Legalize marijuana for adults, " medicalize" hard drugs under prescription from physicians who specialize in addiction. Have rehab readily available. You, will then see most of the problems we normally associate with drugs, evaporate.
that was quite decent sir, i am quite impressed. most who advocate for this cause dont usually show the blunders/mistakes/silly-ness of both the liberals and conservatives. I would, however, being Canadian, like to see a cite list if you have/use something along those lines, for some of the facts in this video. I am not fluent in the ways of American law and would appreciate some sort of cite page/bibliography VIA a private message or something
CRK, most of my cop buddies say (in their professional opinions) that weed should remain illegal because most of the suspects wanted for serious offenses (rape, robbery, murder, drug peddling ect.) are constantly getting busted for weed, and they would not have otherwise been caught if it wasn't for marijuana use and posession. Just an interesting thing I've been told.
well i guess in my opinion we could spend the war on drugs money better if we spent it on the war on terror. I don't smoke weed but i just don't give a shit if my neighbor does. As far as Micheal Phelps is concerned this will blow over the public really dose not care.
Again, you never thought you'd see the day return, that Right Minded Americans supported lifting a prohibition against a non-lethal non-addictive plant, CRK
Well look at it this way do you enjoy wasting tax payer dollars on fighting marijuana. I mean the prohibition of alcaholic beaverages. Think about it this is nuts that we are pissing away our money fighting pot.
Well, I believe in legalizing medicinal pot, but not Amsterdam-type pot legalization. Pot has been shown to be effective in making terminal people more comfortable and for people with that eye blood vessel disease.
And if the government is controlling what is in the pot, it will be safer. Also, if the government grows it (and sells it,) massive profits are to be made. And all that leftover hemp (non-pot part of the plant) can be made into pants and other clothing items (and stuff like wallets.)

Here is what the gov't says when contending that marijuana should be and stay illegal.
"God/Goddess made a mistake. It is up to us to correct God'/Goddess's mistake"
Marijuana Prohibition = Blashephemy.

How can people vote for Obama who spent a two year stupor smoking pot and then turn around and judge Phelps?
I think pot is much less dangerous than alcohol.... it should be legal.
"Don't criticize it... legalize it!"

Roger,
You're not just kidding! Thousands died in Mexico last year alone, because of the black market we've created. Enough!

If it were illegal wear your shirt untucked, I'd bet most rapists and murders would be guilty of that as well.

Why would the USA prohibit an indigenous cash crop? What are they smoking?
