  • i 'm 17 years and listen this music ,his voice .. make me cry :') ..this is so beautiful!!..so powerful!!..:D i love it.

  • @sonofnadd Caruso wasn't better or even near the greatness of Pavarotti. Your Grandparents just say that cause Caruso was the best of their time. But just like sports, with time the field gets more competitive and players nowadays crush players of the past. It's like someone saying Jerry West was better than Michael Jordan. Just isn't the case. The times evolve. Nobody has yet to match Pavarotti. Yet. Hope that helped. ( ;

  • My grandpa & other old people say that Enrico Caruso was better; too bad every Caruso recording I've heard sounds like boo-boo.

  • Too fast. Couldnt appeciate it as much.

  • We miss you, Luciano, a lot. From your Italy-3

  • There is something inexplicable about his voice. What a thrill he was.

  • I think Puccini got chills in his grave every time Pavarotti sang this ;-)

  • he looks skinny

  • Bravo!

  • I was on of the lucky ones to see him live. A moment in time that has touched my life like nothing else. Miss him.

  • A better version of this song is sung by Placido Domingo. Check it out. Pavarotti will remain a legend.

  • GET ON YOUR FEET YOU INGRATES!!

  • RIP magnificent

  • 3 people have no class

    I guess that's a good sign

    lol

  • No real words can describe the feeling you get when you listen to him.....just simply amazing

  • Wish the crowd would hold their applause until after the song was over. I want to hear the music and Luciano not classless people clapping and hooting over THE only voice that should be heard.

  • sleep well great lion your voice will carry over for all time we miss you maestro god is lucky to have you

  • sleep well great lion your voice will carry over for all time we miss you maestro god is lucky to have you

  • On that note, povarotti was great and powerful.

  • I am a fan of Jackie Evancho and only watched Povarotti sing Nessun Dorma to see how it is. Jackie Evancho sang in in Houston and made the windows vibrate. Lisa Jackie's mom asked that it not be uploaded so there are no negative comments.

  • ese fue el año que yo naci

  • stoppp clapping!!! they ruined the song!!! aaaaaaaaaaggggggghh!! worst attitude ever!!!

  • what i love best about this clip, is i remember watching it at around 14 or 15 on PBS, and the audience repeatedly interrupted the stars with appluase, yet most would shoosh them, and i learned then that in Europe i guess, or for opera singers, you wait until the end to laud them with praise - not at the beginning just because you are happy for the song choice, but for the performance

PLUS i love how at the end he reaches for joy because he knows he hit his notes spot-on

  • good sound, thanks very much.

  • hewill never dies !!

  • Absolutely fantastic. Critics pan Pavarotti for his technique, but there is so much that makes him great. He is the consummate showman--he absorbs the audience in his performance. His voice is so bright and resonant that he is truly the finest tenor in recording history.

  • @greekheroes Critics have no talent. That's why they are fit to judge someone like Pavarotti. It's why film critics make me laugh. None of them have any experience or talent in any aspect of filmmaking. So who are they to judge.

  • My Gad I'm Italian ... and i cry when i listen my big luciano .... becouse makes me proud to be Italian

  • if you observe .. he doen't use a microphone. Its the best performance that i ever heard... i realy cried.

  • He said in an interview once that he felt he felt he should sing because God had kissed his vocal cords-I think he was right!

  • this makes me shiver

  • Made in Italy

  • RIP MAESTRO!

  • The King

  • splendido.

  • onore italiano

  • =) grande !

  • Luciano non ti dimenticheremo mai!

    Fabio,Modena

  • Lots of wonderful tenors. Yes, there were and are many. BUT, no one touches the big guy. Riposa in pace MAESTRO!

  • Pavarotti orgoglio d'Italia!!!!

  • Pavarotti truly had the lion's "golden roar," as a soprano (I forget who) said of tenors' voices.

  • One word comes up to my lips : FABULOUS !

Luciano Pavarotti had this metallic sharpness in his voice which was absolutely stunning

    R.I.P Maestro

    Regards from France

  • Grandissimo Luciano! Grande Tenore, Grande Artista di Grande Esperienza. Indimenticabile Voce.

  • Look at how this audience reacts to Luciano. How they love him! Unbelievable!!! They KNOW they are in the presence of THE GREAT ONE. He is absolutely the most incredible voice in all of history.

  • I LOVE YOU LUCIANO, MY BEAUTIFUL SOUL.

  • Nessun Dorma in the voice sent by God! RIP Maestro
