This sounds just like the Rebirth 338 software synth. Maybe it is because of the behringer fx unit, that it making sound hollow and digitized.

Like I said they are cheap and crap but they are Behringer DM100 distortion modeler and Behringer FX100 Digital Multifx both cost me £20
