  • hey this song was made by john murphy

  • I think this ST as awesome as Lux Aeterna

  • @2biasNilzzon John Murphy writes for both films so it doesn't matter. ALL ADMIRATION GOES TO HIM ANYWAY :D

  • Awesome !!!

  • when i saw 28 days later i knew that i heard that music somewhere before!

  • Comment removed

  • is this like a remix to the theme song 28 days later?

  • @zelda1250 yes, made for this movie

  • I remember when i first saw the scene where big daddy kills all the people in the warehosue on the internet after a friend showed it to me, it was playing in the house in a heartbeat in the background and i thought it was EPIC. But when i saw kick-ass for the first time it played this music instead and i thought to myself fuck in the house in the heartbeat big daddy kills owns you anyday.

  • Had this song playing in the bathroom... who knew taking a dump would be so epic. LOL

  • @AlexDiavolo1 I'd be waiting to find the truth... of where the shit came from (Epic Movie Moment)

  • @aDdAeVmIaD I am pretty sure that an epic movie moment wouldnt have "shit" in it unless it was a bad movie.

  • @Ultbeastman it was a joke...

  • hmmm...i think this music is better suited for an intense shoot out then a bunch of cannibals chasing you...wait...ah fuck it its equally epic ;D

  • @BxBaNgEr828 He goes around killing a lot of people and shooting people when this song goes on in 28 Days Later. He lets out a zombie to kill a bunch of soldiers that were holding him and his friends hostage, also.

  • @xkevinc No shit -___-

  • @BxBaNgEr828 How is that a "no shit," they're both shootouts and you strongly imply that one isn't.

  • @xkevinc no i didnt...read again..

  • @BxBaNgEr828

"is better suited for an intense shoot out then a bunch of cannibals chasing you"

That completely implies that there isn't a shoot out in one.

  • @xkevinc Nope not at all.

  • @BxBaNgEr828 Rofl, stay in denial, I suppose there's nothing wrong with that.

  • @xkevinc I was speaking in general. Wasn't 28 days/weeks later a zombie film?

  • thx, love this dont think its scary, i actually find it relaxing!???

  • @gojirafan12 I LOVE USING CAPITALS TO GET PEOPLE TO READ MY POSTS!!!!!!!11!!!!!1!!!!!!!ONE!!!1!!!!ELEVEN!!!

  • I like how ppl keep saying how scary this music is when most saw from a simple fight scene lol watch this music to a scene of flesh tearing infected chasing you. intense.

  • When I saw this graphic scene and heard THIS go along with it, I was terrified, honestly. I was like "O_O" and it is still bone-chilling.

  • that kicked tons of ass!!!!

  • really good music to kick some ass in slowmotion

  • The second i heard the start of this song while watching the movie i knew something awesome was about to go down... I don't care what people say about Nic Cage... when he is given an opportunity to be epic he delivers...

  • when you see the warehouse scene you will know that the face-off killer is back

  • @jowillcollection The origional was In the house in a heartbeat by John Murphy. This is a remake by Henry Jackman.

  • absolutely love this version <3

  • @spectreeene na this is different. its remixed u can hear the difference between the two. this one heavier n builds a little differently. i believe the other adagio d in minor is by murphy though. they re-used his stuff in this movie. before was 28 days later and sunshine

  • This is my favorite intense/ rising Climax Kinda music

  • I don't really get how Henry Jackman can put some heavier guitars over John Murphy's shit he's allowed to call it his own...mindfuck

STILL. it does sound pretty epic.

  • @ThomYorkesLazyEye He doesn't call it his own, he calls it a rendition of the original.

  • the background lead sounds much louder, and the rhythm guitar is definitely deeper, I think it sounds better than Murphy's version, it's too quiet for such an epic song.

  • well just for refrence the guy who made this song did it for 28 days and wekks so he can use it when everry he fucking fells like it

  • that sounds like the soundtrack of 28 weeks later. the name of the song was in a house in a heartbeat

  • no its without a heartbeat

  • @rasenshuriken1234567 are you fucking kidding me?

  • NO ONE CARES!!!! Just enjoy the damn music it's intense! Who cares who wrote it

  • The original is composed by John Murphy for the 2002 movie 28 Days Later. The track is called "In the house - in a heart beat" but was remixed for the movie Kick-ass. There you have it.

  • @2biasNilzzon i <3 Danny Boyle and 28 days later and that made me love John Murphy. when i watched this movie and this song played i freaked out, "ALL MY FAVORITE MOVIES ARE JUST TO ENTERTAIN MEEEEEE" lol ofc thats not true but when they clash like this and make something so epic it sure as hell seems they are lol.

  • @2biasNilzzon yes, thank you, i searched so long for the song of 28 days later... BIG THX!

  • thumbs up for no reason

  • @jowillcollection No seriously dude, this song is called In a house in a heart beat by john murphy but they probably renamed it because of the alteration of the beat. Just please if you could for the viewers, put the original name of the song "In a house in a heart beat by John Murphy" and than the of this mix of the song. So, their is not any controversy or confusion. :)

  • thanks dude

  • when did this play in the movie?

  • A wonderful song just became even better! :)

  • i like both versions but i would have to say this one is like a inch or two away from the 28 days version on my scale, it took me a while to figure out the the guitar tabs to this, ur pretty much playing it somewhat reverse except for the 2nd guitar that comes out at 2:50

  • 28 days sucked - kickass pwned, 28 days version sucked - this one pwns

  • @asedcopf without the original this song wouldnt even be here, show some fucking respect

  • Superb version. EPIC!! :)

  • What with all the hate for nicholas cage? i loved the movie and i think he did a pretty great job.

  • They could have gotten someone so much better than Nicholas Cage to play this guy. Nicholas Cage blooowwwsssss.

  • I don't like this version. The chord changes just sound wrong in my ears.

  • Am i the only one who doesn't really care who made this and the 28 days later one but still likes the music :)

  • This version fails. The guitar that plays the main melody can hardly be heard. This piece gets an F.

  • This song is originally form 28 days later. In case you were wondering

  • this is in 28 days/weeks later....epic

  • i bought the sountrack n this wasnt on it, i was gutted, fell in love with the intensity of it in 28 days later, when this came on in the cinema it was so right for that scene, love it

  • This version Kicks ass

  • i prefer 28 days version

  • the virsions are so similar, and were you to ask Henry, im sure he would take NO credit for this at all...its simply as different arangement

  • THIS VERSION SHIT ON 28 WEEKS VERSION

  • It's not fair that we don't get the score soundtrack here in the us!!! =( I love the music they used!!! Wish i had it on my ipod!! ='(

  • @omgtome Google this song and add mp3 at end of name, download.

  • Personally, I like the original better, but Henry Jackman did a decent job. The Rotted also do a great job covering it. It's a fantastic song, no matter who covers/remixes it. That's the beauty of the original, chaps.

  • When i saw Kick Ass, this song made that scene so intense o.o

  • @TheTeenageArtist This song makes me fucking scared bro

  • No matter if this is another version

It should be only in Zombie movies

  • @jowillcollection finally someone says who the true composer is.....changing two notes doesn't make a song theirs......fuck henry hackman

  • @nwluigi It is a better version though.

  • @JoeBalooka96 that's opinion man....my opinion, nothing's better than the original

  • i liked the original -_-

  • the melody starts on the wrong beat my head hurts

  • @jowillcollection

You're thinking of In the house- In a Heartbeat from 28 Days later. This song was made to sound just like it.

  • This version is more suited to the fast paced action scene, when Big Daddy was Kicking ass...

  • yeah its a remake, its a bloody good one though

  • loved the original, and love the remix xD hearing that song in the movie made my day

  • @jowillcollection Oh have you? Because in the house in a heartbeat is by John Murphy, Big Daddy kills is a remix of that and its by Henry Jackman. Im sure youve "

    written" with him dipshit

  • First of all thank you MrNico350z, this is the song from Kick-ass. I never forgot that electric guitar with the massive overdrive kicking in. This version of In the House In a Heartbeat by Henry Jackman just fuckin rocks. Props to John Murphy for the original. The scene when Big Daddy just starts tearin the place apart and this song kicks in I get goosebumps down my spine and can't help but pick up the guitar and crank it lol Kick-ass was is the best movie of 2010 for me.

  • wow Sgt,dont ya feel just a wee bit silly for carrying on like that? Pretty sure Mr Nico correctly identified it as a remix. So are you a f@g for not reading? just asking.

  • Dude! Is it just me or this song is from The Walking Dead?

  • @LyzandroNeto u might of heard a version of in the house in a heartbeat, this remix was only used in kick ass

  • i fucking love in the house, in a heart beat. but this ones guitar sells it

  • I really want to find the version they used in The Walking Dead two weeks ago. Every version of this song is spectacular.

  • sounds very similar to the 28 weeks later theme.

  • @rockyroshi you mean 28 DAYS later :D

  • Duke Onlet is under attack by the evil forces of Big Daddy.

  • nah kick ass is shit they just copied a good movie cause theres sucked old grampas niples

  • @chipluver101 kick ass is good and u are shit

  • @jowillcollection this one is by Henery Jackman he re-made it its not officially his John Murphy's is better though

  • @jowillcollection because he re-made it its not officially his John Murphy's is better though

  • THANK YOU FOR GETTING IT RIGHT OMG

  • This song get me off! First thing I dud after 28 days later was go on a frenzy to find out the song and the lead actor who is hot as shit! Late at seeing kick ass but love the rock effect in this version. Original still my besty though.

  • I do like this version a lot but the original still sends chills down my spine.

  • I like this version better, despite it being shorter. This music gets the blood flowing. I love it

  • @jowillcollection Weird...I wonder why the soundtrack I have which is the official Kick Ass Score says the title is "Big Daddy Kills by Henry Jackman"..maybe you should call and let them know they made a mistake

  • @MrNico350z Weird...I'm pretty sure the ORIGINAL was by john murphy who produced it for 28 days later, so jowillcollection was right in saying that. thanks for the upload too : )

  • @MrNico350z because he re-made this song its not officially his

  • @MrNico350z ur this one is from henry jackson because the one by john murphy is callled in a house, in a heartbeat and this one a different(better )version of it

  • @MrNico350z your right because there is a song called in a house ina heartbeat and this song is a different(better) version to it=D

  • @MrNico350z its a remix of in the house in a heartbeat by john murphy, remixes dont count, even if theyr epic

  • @MrNico350z or maybe he just made his own version? no need to be an asshole

  • @MrNico350z henry jackman just did the remake of john murphy's in the house in a heartbeat

  • @MrNico350z this is a remake of the original.....the composer of which is john murphy......look it up damn

  • @MrNico350z

probably cause Henry Jackson ripped off a good score by John Murphy, which was originally from 28 days later.

  • @MrNico350z He means that John Murphy made the original track for '28 Days Later'. This is a remix.

  • @MrNico350z they just added some things in...this is technically by John Murphy

  • @MrNico350z

Well if its by Henry Jackman then he pretty much just rewrote "in a house in a heartbeat" which is by John Murphy.

OR also he could have copied "dan abandons alice" from 28 weeks later.

I say it was mislabeled and is by John Murphy.

  • @gibhran11 he just remixed it a bit...therefore he gets his name in the title. its not a big deal. get over it

  • @MrNico350z You're an idiot. This piece of music is a reworking of a piece from 28 Days Later - soundtrack by John Murphy.

  • @MrNico350z lol at u bein stoopid

  • @MrNico350z hey dog, not sure if you heard, but its not Henry Jackman. Totally John Murphy. Just letting you know man.

  • @MrNico350z the orignal song is by john murphy this a remix ;) youre good bro

  • @MrNico350z There are four composers in total for the movie... John Murphy was the last composer to come in and help finish the original score (most of the score was done by Murphy and Jackman together)... However the main composer is Henry Jackman and he has the final say for the direction of the music therefore he was listed as artist (Murphy agreed this)...

  • HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYDRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Recognised this instantly.

I love the subtle difference but still having the same impact.

  • so cool, so so cool

  • The name of the song:

Henry Jackman - Big Daddy Kills, because it's too hard to write that down into the description.

  • I love the original "In the House in a Heartbeat", but I was starting to get pissed trying to find this version. Much appreciated for the posting. You're a good man.

  • Absolutely loved when they used this in the film. I knew what it was as soon as it started. Fantastic remix

  • I think it's kind of funny how this video is stuck at 28 likes. I mean it had to get there eventually, but still.

  • Big Daddy fuck the world for the win.

  • Fucking love this version, way WAY better than the original

  • thanks man! have been looking for this song to use it in my DJ sets! I am very grateful that you posted this!

  • that scene is kinda creepy for some reason.

i think its because the soundtrack is the theme of 2 zombie movies.

when i watched this scene in the movie i was like "no way... isnt that the theme of 28 Weeks later?"

  • I thought the movie was sick!!!!!! Big Daddy and Hit Girl were kicking some ass

  • Who the hell is this guy !

  • WIN! SO MUCH FUCKING WIN!

  • I love that scene inthe movie :3

  • I think I like In the House in a Hearbeat more than this, but it's a very slight advantage. Both are awesome

  • 28 weeks later for the win!!!!

  • Any remix to "In a heartbeat" is epic.

  • he totally coppied john murphy!

  • @brancool88 ummm where are you in this whole conversation??? everybody here had realized ages ago that is an alternate version of "In the House in a Heart Beat"... In case anybody else didn't notice there is also a remake of the Jokers theme track 1 "Why So serious?" from the Dark Knight in this film, listen for it

  • @brancool88 no man john murphy did almost all the soundtrack for kick so everybody had the rights to remix this song at the studio

  • Im not gonna lie, i think i like this version better somewhat. sorta. kinda. cant decide. lol

  • @That0neguy01 lol yeah it's the subtle differences that make me like this version a bit more too

  • I wonder why they weren't able to get the license to use the real songs, Other than that one song "Don't give a damn about my reputation" or whatever.

  • TO ALL FAGS WHO DONT READ - THIS IS A REMAKE OF "IN THE HOUSE IN A HEARTBEAT" THAT IS USED IN KICKASS

thumbs up to get the message through

  • @SgtSagget Yeah John Murphy composed "In The House In a Heartbeat" and Henry Jackman sort of remixed it into this. Thanks for reading

  • @MrNico350z I think John Murphy is the composer for the movie and remixed the song. I think they talked about him in the bonus features on the blu-ray version

  • @SgtSagget good point but you really dont have to be a cunt about it. so over all just fuck off.

  • this sounds like that track from 28 days later

  • @Ascalon94

    That's because it's a remix of it

    -.- duh

  • I owe you my most sincere gratitude. I've been looking for this for so long. So thank you.

  • THANKYOU! i have been looking for this re-hash for a while now but everywhere keeps saying its just the original "in a heartbeat" song from 28 weeks later

  • it uses the same beat from eminems lose yourself

  • @Haji5476 mash up time? lol

  • @bashlet why mash up time?

  • Excellent track... was looking for it for a long time thanks a lot <3

  • simply... badass

  • FUkin sick

  • i managed to find a torrent for it,

if ur looking for the soundtrack which has THIS SPECIFIC VERSION OF IT ,

u should search for " kickass - the score " , the title of the mp3 is

"big daddy kills " . ..... but yes as the description mentioned alot of ppl got the versions from kickass and 28 days mixed up.

  • @xxxToshio how can i download this freaking song its way better than the version in 28 weeks later

  • Where can I get THIS version? I want the legitimate one from Kick-Ass! :D

  • no0 I liked so much in 28 days later... period.

  • The original is John Murphy - In the House In a Heartbeat, played first in 28 days later. The use of this song is why kick ass was passable to me. 3/5.

  • yeah thanks for posting the right one. I've listened to the 28 days later version enough times to hear immediately while watching KickAss in theatres that this one was different! For example, where is the piano at the beginning?

  • do you no anywhere i can download this song plz ??

  • @dvsstewie1 just download youtubeget or something and rip this MP3

  • @MrNico350z yeah thats what i did

  • @MrNico350z its like a remake of 28 weeks later

  • @brandfoley ye its same song from 28 weeks later like from kickass
