  • Absolute masterpiece of a song from a guy who's turned out more great music than anyone has any right to.

  • If you took away the voice editing from 99% of pop stars today, they would not be able to sing. Because to sing, like this, that takes something else. Talent.

  • Song is great but Lyrics touchs my heart...thank you for this words..

  • I hate people who hate this

  • I hate people who hate this

  • this is a song about me. really though there is a part of the wrestler in all of us. some more than others. Cash and the boss they know those "low" notes in our lives because they have lived it- another unknown is the Vigilantes of Love lead singer Bill Maloney. you wont be disappointed.

  • this is a song about me. really though there is a part of the wrestler in all of us. some more than others.

  • This song and the film never fails to make me sob like a baby. <3

  • 16 people are probably guys who are listening to pop/disco or some other wannabe-music makers, still - if you don't like the music, that CAN BE CALLED music, because it contains instruments, great vocal and perfect rhythm.. and HAS something in it, some meaning in lyrics.. if you simply can't understand it.. don't listen to it.. look, when you surf through some emoshit music videos, you'll surely find comments like "blablabla this is shit, gay blablabla etc".. and here? you find love :)

  • @kmfilmsYT 16 people need a Ram Jam

  • Who dislikes the masterpiece?

  • Thank you indeed from Japan

  • the bossiest BOSS in the world...

  • Fuck. This is more touching than mountain of drugs... (?)

  • awesome song

  • Greatest song i've ever heard...

  • One of the most uplifting songs ever in history. There should be a separate category of music created just for Secret garden, Streets of Philadelphia and The Wrestler. And for Lose yourself of course.

"bet I can make you smile when the blood, it hits the floor"

  • beautiful song for a beautiful movie

  • this song, has helped me through some bad times thank you bruce, this is such a beautiful song.

  • Words can not decribe how much I love this song, the lyrics, the music, the video it's all amazing. I've been getting into Bruce recently and to be honest am a bit obsessed with his music atm. This song only came out a year or two ago which shows that despite the amount of brilliant songs he's made or how long he's been doing it for, he can still come out with absolute stunners like this at his age. I love this music and I'm only 15 :)

  • @76scarfoot Welcome into the sweet fan club of Bruce :) I became a fan at the age of 13 and that's 24 years ago...

  • Brilliant - Like so many other songs before this.

  • Only two words... fantastic song

  • ...ein grossartiges song...eben ´´Bruce the Boss´´...

  • What a masterpiece...

  • This song breaks my heart everytime. Bruce's a brilliant man.

And The wrestler is such a good film. Also a heartbreaker though.

  • It just went perfectly with the ending of the film. Beautiful.

  • Diogo, from portugal this song is so beutiful! keep going bruce you are a music goD!!

  • Amen, Thanx for this song Bruce!

  • michaelin arizona speaks right

  • bruce amore mio...<3

  • heres a silly question...why is he called "the boss"?

  • @rabgunner He is called "The Boss" tecnically because in his early years, when he had a "band" and they performed together some songs in bars and pubs, he was the one who was given the money and who distributed it between the members.

But after his career and after demonstrating concert after concert and album after album that he is a complete musician, he is so respected that calling him "The Boss" is like raising him to a top status. If you are a real fan of Bruce, you understand me ;-)

  • @memetom16

    that's true man!

long life to the boss from an italian employer

  • His voice his so effortless and its filled with so much emotion, no one else can do this, thats why hes the Boss. So unaffected by fame, you never see him drunk or embarrassing himself, a true professional, just wish more treated fame and talent like him, massive respect to the Bruce. thanks for the post.

  • This is why i love Bruce. This epitomises who/what he is as an artist. Oh and I love the shots of him in a singlet. Drool.

  • 涙無しには聞けないBruce久々の素晴らしいナンバー

  • "I am the president,but Bruce Springsteen 's still the BOSS" (Barack Obama)......all is said !!! ; )

  • You simply cant see it bec your brain doesnt allow you to get it DUDE!!!!

  • You're a stupid cunt

  • bruce "the boss" springsteen.........

  • devastante

  • esattamente..... non potevi fare commento migliore

  • god bless you bruce...salute from greece...

  • bravo bruce

  • totally brilliant of course you cannot get better hands down genius

  • This song should have been nominated for Oscar, and then won it.

  • @fobt90 Absolutely!

  • @fobt90 It won a Golden Globe. but yes I agree.

  • @fobt90 what do the oscar people know anyways, Apocalype now vs kramer vs kramer? nuff said.

  • es bueno tanto el video como la cancion!

  • wonderful movie, amazing song.

  • Comment removed

  • semplicemente favolosa.. musica..film.. fantastico!

  • Had this been nominated for the Oscar it would have won hands down! The man is a genius!

  • i cant believe someone has said my comment is bad. it was a good WORTHY comment JERKS

  • fucking awesome

  • i think this is a beautiful song nad it sums up just the way i feel like something gone wrong and yet carrying on because there is nothing to do

  • wow i have not heard this song before, and ive not seen the film, but this song made my hairs stand up, sounds like he is singing from the heart, just great from a great man,

    mighty6 UK

  • Why this song was never nomiated for an Oscar is beyond me, yes, "Jai Ho" by AR. Rahman for the movie "Slumdog Millionaire" was a worthy winner, but a nomination for Bruce Springsteen at least! sheesh...

  • same for the movie.

  • could not agree with you more this song totally deserved at least a nomination, but I'll think you'll find the nomination commity coped out and reduced the catgory from 5 to 3 choices this year, so it is safe to assume had it reminded the same the boss man would have been a dead lock for the nomination he so richly derserved for this track!

  • most awesome movie ever

  • happy 60's boss!!!! the song of my life!!!

  • 60 años,,,y su musica = de wapa :D

  • HAPPY 60 YO. BOSS ;)

  • What's the movie called?

  • THE BOSS

    grazie a tutti . Amen

  • This is an "everyman's song" We all leave with less than we had before no matter how much wealth or poverty is involved. This is our song if your a man. Busting your ass just to make it through as best you can no matter what you do for a living. I'm 53...soon to be at the end and I feel this song in every bone in my body. Michael

  • Amen brother.

  • I agree - this song is about the hardships of being past one's prime and not being able to do what you could do when you were young. Any guy over 30 should be able to relate to this song.

  • Bruce top notch rock singer ever!!!!!!!!!

  • THE FUCKING BOSS!!!!

  • his music is so good, it means alot to people, alot of his songs got some real story's behind it, like if u check his movie with Born to run, you see how much he and the band feel for music, there are no words for that, even 100 years from now people will talk about him and listen his music, maybe longer!

just keep going Bruce&theband u guys are making awesome music, i can't stop listening it !!

  • I agree with everything you wrote.

Even though the Boss is not my favourite artist,he long ago achieved and surpassed, or at least equalled his exalted hero's, and has long passed into American legend.

Thankfully he is still here to appreciate this, and if he keeps his current capacity, then in 5,10 or even 20 years from now he may still give us his best work.

  • he is one of the most awesome rock singers of all time.

  • hauhauha, Melissa?

  • great song and movie

  • Bruce Springsteen, one of the most amazing men in the music industry!

  • the song is great, with emotion, just like the movie.

Do not judge if your mind is to weak to judge. A movie is not only the story!

  • im as big a fan of vanessa lanes tight butt as the next man but this is not the place for that

  • excellent movie and excellent song!

  • You know, I used to really enjoy sharing my input and reading other people's thoughts as well. Lately though theres just been a bunch of rude and immature comments flying back and forth. Sooner or later,(like everything else) It'll be taken away.Maybe that's a good thing. But for now just try to show some repsect for one another .Try not to ruin what you have left.

If all you want to be is negative, do the rest of us a favor, and please keep it to yourself.

  • We didn't start the flame war...

  • tlp27tx only liked Marisa Tomei's boobs and this song? I wonder why he said that. By the way he's acting I'd say he's all about the cock. "Me no like movie with touching story! Me like tits and good grammar! You all need to get life! Me feel sorry for you!" why don't you grow up and give this movie another shot.

  • Touching. makes me cry. good movie. great song.

Ur the Boss, a Legend and u will always be!

  • @ tlp27tx: are you serious? pick on someone for there grammar.....oh what? couldn't come back with something sophisticated so you said he's grammar isn't right.....ever noticed that people shorten their words when talking online to fit more in, and if you are going to argue about grammar over the net....then the first letter you use to start a sentence is a capital letter! i see that u stuffed up on both of YOUR comments. Guess you missed that one huh!. woops

  • C'mon guys. Shhhhhh... calm down. Can't we just agree that we like this song. I'm sure a lot of us can relate to it and the movie on some level. It was a pretty good movie, by the way. Sad ending. I kinda wanted the story to keep going.

And really. most all screen names are ridiculous... that's why they're screen names.... not real names.

Besides, arguments on the internet are like the special olympics. Even if you win.... well you know.

  • proving your just another fucking retard idiot in the world. If thats all you cared for in the movie, well, your a retard honestly.
