Except black cat was more like catwoman before Catwoman was. Catwoman came out first as simply "The Cat" awhile back, Black Cat came out much later but was a cat burglar style villain/love interest for Spider-Man from the beginning, almost 10 years before catwoman became the same way... so actually if anyone's ripping off anyone, it's the other way around :)
