It's really nice from U2 they made Sunday Bloody Sunday in the Iranian theme, but you see, I growed up with Sunday Bloody Sunday, and every time I heared that song, I was thinking about the the Bloody Sunday in Ireland. So I think they have to sing Sunday Bloody Sunday for Ireland, and NOT for Iran, if they wanna do a song for Iran, just make a new one, but not Sunday Bloody Sunday, I hope somebody can agree with me.
aye dudes that flag you saw at the rose bowl show when U2 sang sunday bloody sunday was not a prop my roomie threw that flag on stage right before the song started he is a huge U2 fan and has done this before.. totally amazing to c him do that again and bono to show so much respect to it.
actually the crowd was not 125,000. it was more in the range of 96,000, + or - 5000. and trust me, in that stadium, with that stage, it felt like maybe 5000 people were there. I have seen other shows at the Rose Bowl, and U2 was by far and a way the most intimate. You dont feel like youre in a mass of historic presence, that is until you try to leave. then its a different story. =)
was drinking some wine... and it turned to blood What's the use of religion... if you're any good I know i'm weedkiller honey... and you're sugar If you're the prosecution... i get away with murder If you were ice... i'm water And with your telescope... i can see further We're binary code... a one and a zero You wanted violins... and you got nero You're gravity... searching for the ground You're silence... searching for a sound Your heart is aching... your heart is my home It's fascinating...
Thanks for all the great comments and ratings from around the world. As a rule, I don't go to stadium shows any more. But I will tell you this: This was the greatest Stadium show I have ever seen - and I have gone too thousands of shows!
We ,iranian, are very proud to see that european groups are supporting the freedom movement in Iran. This shows the true meaning of human being. I do not need to praise u2 as I know you all love them , me too, but I just wanted to remind everyone about the broad spectrum of their thoughts and their thoughtfulness. I have been living in UK for the last 16 years . I am proud of being British and so pleased to see one of our favourite groups has shown solidarity with Iranian people.many thanks U2
Thanks for the video! We had a different perspective as we were actually in front of the stage against the rail between Bono and Adam. Cool to see the stage from this angle!
Awesome video! U2 is so amazing live!!! Tour is amazing! Saw them in Washington, DC and in Charlottesville and still want to see them again and again!
much love man! one love from me and my fiance....its amazing how one band can unite people together...Im filipino and my fiance is japanese...and tonight everybody was representing their own..it didnt matter what race, color, culture and religion...last night was 100,000 people, millions around the world were one...
If you saw the superbowl performance a few years ago, Bono is a huge supporter of America. He was not abusing the American Flag - It was used as a prop piece and to make a statement. Bono loves the United States - And yes, the world as one. This show blew me away!
! saw U2's show in Chicago. Once again, they prove why they are the best band in the world ! What's this about desecrating the flag? I didn't see that, but so what? It's just a piece of cloth. We are all part of the human race. Country barriers are artificial and promote wars. We all bleed red and share this earth together as ONE.
in 1972 it was known for Bloody Friday In 1970 Believing themselves to be under an armed IRA attack, the army opened fire on the protestors. 14 people were killed, none of whom were subsequently found to have been armed. Forensic evidence also proved that none of them had fired a weapon at any time during the day. The event became known as 'Bloody Sunday'.

no clue as to why u2 did not do something in the eastern time zone or europe. they alienated about 90% of the fan base...then again the reviews of this tour are not great and the latest cd was kind of weak so it makes sense to do what they did.
are you crazy? This is their most successful tour ever...moneywise and as far as fans are concererned, they love(d) it! And, their last CD is one of the best they have ever recorded! They did the live broadcast on the internet for the WHOLE WORLD, so how can you say fans in eastern time zone were put aside. It was 5am here (EASTERN EUROPE, btw) and I got up and watched it, it was definitely worth it. Every minute. I have never heard about a group that cares so much about their fans as U2 does.
What a Sight - 125,000 in the Rose Bowl - Every Country, Every Race, Every Age. The Best U2 Stadium Show - Ever. A Huge, 6 story "Spaceship" filled the bowl - with 360 moving tenticals. Rotateing, HD video screens. Laser light, extreme light show. Unbelievable!
show a flag respect?!?! comon guys it's a flag for crying out loud :-)
