This got some airplay in NYC mainly on 92.7 WLIR (later renamed WDRE, and then back to WLIR I think)

dallaskeffer's right that it's not the original video. The original was shot inside an abandoned warehouse with aerial shots. Now, that's a cool video! The keyboard player also had the best outfit.

Kevin Mooney, the lead singer, was originally in Adam & the Ants, but got sacked. The Ants influence was evident throught Wide Boy Awake's EP.

There is a full video, 1983 if I remember, that was playing in the clubs on Telegenics (the video loops that played endlessly). It's shot in an old abandoned warehouse and dank back alleys. Interesting if you can find it.

I read in an interview with Mooney that he felt Slang Teacher was the only really great thing to come out of WBA, so he agrees, and so do I, although Come Back Friday is pretty amazing too
