i don't care how people are arguing about how they are or are not a Christian band... all that I know is that they have songs under the Christian category in iTunes and they've seemed to gain a lot of popularity from the "worldly" audience

Praise God and hopefully they lead people to Christ Jesus... :)

They have Christian faith, but their music explores life outside of Christianity. They are only given a chance to play the Dove Awards because of one of their distributing labels, Sparrow Records.

The only reason they stayed with Sparrow is because they want EVERYONE to hear the music, Christian or not. The Fray just signed a distribution deal with INO. Bet you they'll be on the Dove Awards sooner or later.
