  • Damn! how the hell does Ben play his bass so low to the ground.

  • so fuckin GRUNGE

  • LOVE.

  • Eddie V on the kit mike? Hot dam good show!

PS- how was your bands last performance?

  • Actually Nirvana was from Aberdeen, Wa. and pop they certainly were not. Got one thing right though both bands rock lol.............

  • @90smusicfanatic There are still moshpits... Ans if it wasn't for those people who film shows, many people wouldn't be able to see those footage and it would be a shame...

  • Mierda q bestiaa! de lejos mi banda preferida, Great Song!!!

  • is that man Homeless?

  • why did any one show up?

what is the point of all this?

  • why did any one show up?

  • Soundgarden way heavier? Only slower. In Utero and Dirt heaviest ''grunge'' albums, Listen to Heart Shaped Box. The guitar sounds like its raped by a chainsaw

  • @srekazinskas nirvana sucks ass cheeks that's why the fool is dead.what did read about Kim's chainsaw type riffs and used it to put him down? dude you are are true pole smoker.Kurt sounded like a fucking hacksaw was coming out of his half queer throat.Mark Lanegan is 10x the singer that Kurt was.listen to real music not processed aluminum canned cock and balls punk.

  • I wonder what drugs Chris was on.

  • Any real fans when?

  • @AbsintheColour HAHA you're the stupidest son of a bitch ever. Shouting? It's called chest belting. It's one of the hardest vocal techniques there is, and I can tell you 1 thing: Kurt could NOT do that. If anything, he was the one shouting

  • Give a shoutout to the stage crew, the weight of all that kickass awesomeness onstage at once would cause most stages to spontaneously combust :P

  • those where the days!! damn why i was born in mexico city!! haha

  • damn cornell looks like jesus loool

  • @rockfan7777 maybe he is.........?

  • @KannibasKing420 OMG it's a conspiracy

  • @rockfan7777 Tis man.

  • @KannibasKing420 lol maybe mankind will never know

  • this is like 90s ish zepplin

  • ahhh, the young voice of cornell is amazing!!!

unfortunately he don't care his voice

  • Excellent.

  • I can't wait until they put out a new album, all this 2000-2010 stuff is like vaginal techno rock

  • Omg young Chris. So hot! And such a huge future awaits him.

  • Thank you.

  • Now all you see is fans with their fucking phones filming everything. Long live the mosh pits!!!

  • @90smusicfanatic

    so damn right

  • Did Eddie mess up by singing "back on my knees" or "back on my feet" instead of "down on my knees" or "up on my feet" respectively? Not a big deal, just wondering. I love this dang song anyway.

  • with eddie vedder on back vocals, it makes this song even more awesome!

  • @MxKawasaki220 I agree! They might as well go into a Temple of the dog song.... Matt Cameron is already there. haha.

  • I would have to agree with you ,or at least I cant argue that Cornells voice is more of a singers singer voice than Kurts. . he is very talented in the voice department. Ive always liked Cobains raw heart through his voice better. Thats just me. I have to say though, Cornell is definately cool in my book and can very much sing. ;^)

  • Chris is a great vocalist... but he pales in comparison to Laynes power and general stage presence.

  • are those jinco's?

  • look at that crowd, those were the good 'ol dayz!

  • chris cornell is good but he's such a tool

  • up in ur ass nickleback

  • Eddie Vedder Chris Cornel two of the best rock n roll voices

  • @chicoacid layne staley?

  • @chicoacid Steven Tyler?

  • @chicoacid sorry but chris cornell and layne staley kick eddie vedder's ass

  • @dombrown777 i have to diagree on that...

  • @Oliptica16 agreed. Cornell, Layne, Kurt.. none were as good as Eddie live back in the day. magic in the studio, but couldn't bring it out live (layne could when he wasn't high off his ass on whatever). this performance is an example of that.

Eddie's stage presence, intensity, and ability to maintain such a powerful, intonated voice live is what separates him from the rest.

  • SG KICKS EVERYONE'S ASS INCLUDING YOURS !

  • hey man if u like rock then you cannot says soundgarden rocks and nirvana doesn't. they both are damn good bands. but just remeber though that if it wasn't for bands like that playing the hardcore music at the time period, there would be no bands of today playing the hardcore shit they play. soundgarden, nirvana, metallica, alice in chains, they all invented the way music sounds today.

  • I really dont understand why fans from one band diss another band from the same era. Nirvana and Soundgarden are the 2 best fucking bands in the world. Soundgarden fans stop dissing Nirvana and Nirvana fans stop dissing Soundgarden. Enjoy the fucking amazing music they made. Us fans shouldnt be hating on each other. We should be enjoying the music they made and be arguing about the shitty music today. Why cant we all just like both of there music.

  • best band ever. besides, eddie behind matt!!!! perfect!!!!

  • I was there and Vedder was stoned or drunk, but he did a great show.

I recall he did that song love and trust from the singles and a second song that i never heard recorded had a Ministry twist to it,by the way Ministry was there too.

  • PJ fans always dissing Matt, but he was the shit in SG..he just doesn't belong in PJ!Thumbs up of you agree.

  • @petefader Yeah I agree. I fail to see what's wrong with Matt in PJ, considering I heard just about every PJ song many times and I don't know why people say Matt doesn't fit. People who diss Matt just from PJ (I still don't know why) don't know what they're talking about. Matt is one of the more awesome drummers out there.

  • @ILikeWafflz I said Matt was right for SG, not for PJ. Listen to Dave A. play the same songs you've heard Matt play. NO COMPARISON, Matt shits on the tempos and drum parts. No respect for the old songs.

  • @petefader Well yeah I did watch a live Even Flow where Matt played it and it was like in-fast-forward. And when he played Not For You once he added a BUNCH of fills and kicks...which I think was a little unnecessary....but, old PJ put aside, I think we can all agree that he does indeed own.

  • i m 36 years old, i grew up with these bands

    they just showed the way..

  • early 90s soundgarden, they looked so dirty on stage i love it

  • i like nirvana and chains but you gotta love soundgarden

  • The only thing Nirvana and Soundgarden have in common was that they were both from Seattle. Just listen to their music. SG is so much heavier. Nirvana was much more pop. Chris and Kurt's voices are very different. Both bands rock and there is no use saying one is better than the other.

  • @YouveGotFAIL Definitely. Cornell's voice is much more in the vein of some 80s metal...he WAILS when he wants to, and the band is a lot more rhythm oriented than Nirvana. Totally different bands.

  • @YouveGotFAIL: Nirvana? Pop? Give me a break...

  • @YouveGotFAIL Just listen to incesticide album... They are probable more punk...

  • @YouveGotFAIL i agree, plus kurt has nowhere near the voice cornell has, chris can still bring it

  • @YouveGotFAIL nirvana pop?

just by saying that i can already tell you fail miserably at classifing music...let me guess you think soundgarden is death metal right?

    gtfo of here.

  • @slapsthebass123 Songs like About A Girl are pretty much pop rock. Nirvana was certainly closer to pop than early Soundgarden was. A lot of rock is just pop with loader guitars.

  • @slapsthebass123 Pop stands for popular. He's right. If you're talking about the ABSOLUTE GENERALIZATION THAT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY OF SAYING SOMETHING IS POP TO BE WORTHLESS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE, then, you're right. Both of you are right. Deal with it.

  • @YouveGotFAIL I take it you've never listened to the album Bleach? Nirvana is heavy as shit.

  • Greatest band EVER.

  • shit my pants they rock so hard

  • Fuck

  • His voice sounds god-like in this performance! His voice is going to sound better than it was with Audioslave. Trust me.

  • @pilsenschp

    Fucking right you are sir!

  • god damn i wish i can sing like this

  • soundgarden's back...feeling outshined again:D

  • This band kicks out the catchiest rythms, smartest melodies, and roughest fuckin' grooves ever. Long Live Soundgarden.

  • give it up for Mr. Kim Thayil on guitar.....

  • Somebody needs to wake the world up. I think the world likes being brainwashed by the fucking media. Everybody believes everything the TV tells them to believe.

Fuck the world and its politics!

    This is true bliss!

  • great hard song and what a guitar riff (((((((((((

  • I hate pearl jam worst grunge band to come out of seattle Soundgarden and AIC are the fucking shiiiitt though

  • @loserhead619 BAHAHAHA look up your info chris cornell put together temple of the dog as a tribute band for andrew wood who was the lead singer of mother love bone if your smart you would know that goosard and ament are from mother love bone chris approached them to make a band for andrew then they got vedder and cameron which is pearl jam minus chris and matt aka when temple of the dog was over chris went back to SG and Vedder, Ament, Gossard and McCready made pearl jam so get what im saying

  • it's nice to see Eddie Vedder on backing vocals, two amazing singers in the same place...

  • grunge never dead back is power total viva grunge

  • im not anxious or hyped at all about sg reunion, not after that "bitch aint part of me"

  • @hdp26 Who said "bitch aint part of me?"

  • havnt you listened latest cornell album? that song is the epithaph to a carrier, he is facing now his personal tom jones era

  • @hdp26 that was chris cornell solo shit music, it aint soundgarden

  • I was there ,Vedder did two songs with soundgarden and one with Ministry

  • notable tema!!! fuerza SG!!

  • The Q is will they ever be this good again?

  • Soundgarden Reunion!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna be the best concert I will be at....Then Audioslave will be back after that!!!

  • Soundgarden's back to rape all these 2000s pussy-rock bands!!

  • when i heard they were getting back together i almost cried, love this band

  • @pilsenschop they're not even a rock band, they're just pussies!!

  • @pilsenschop when does the tour start? have they planned when the new album will be released?

  • @pilsenschop when does the tour start? have they planned when the new album will be released?

  • @pilsenschop when does the tour start? have they planned when the new album will be released?

  • @pilsenschop I was at the Soundgarden reunion show last night. They were so fucking amazing.

  • @pilsenschop however its s fact that I had sex with grandpa last night. my opinion? it RULED

  • @andrewcramer13 i AM your grandpa

  • @g0ldbuG no your not. grandpas youtube name is poppinbonersforbadboy

  • @pilsenschop Soundgarden is going to fornicate with a bunch of shitty bands...?

I suppose that does make them allot better

  • chris acts like he was super fucked up in this concert.

  • Grunge may have been a "fad" but there's no denying IMO that it was 100% necessary for music. This performance is amazing they were such a great band.

  • So now u know...

  • OMFG!!! Fukin Chris!!! and Eddie Vedder too , nice

  • Eddie vedder fucking hero

  • arrr just realized this is in 7/4 time

  • Ben is so cool

  • hm, yeop, looks like you got yourself a vedder infestation in your drums. we're gonna have to fumigate or the little guys will keep popping up to do vocals

  • chorus by eddie vedder from pearl jam!!!

  • do you have a link to the information?

  • was he hiding out there behind Matt Cameron!?

  • IS there a full live dvd concert with soundgarden,?

  • good sound quality....crappy vid....but still, rock on!

    get a better ripper!!!!

  • tag037 ,damn you're right...but please don't put that capitlaization on rock music...today's shit music doesn't deserve any fu46ing kind of respect...

  • ROAD RASH!

  • hahah great!! which other soundgarden songs were there? Superunknown, kickstand i think, Outshined, and there was another one...

  • Goddamn!! I was there. Lollapalooza in 92 and 96. whoever shot the footage of the East Troy show, thank you. I was there. Anyone get Jesus and Mary Chain footage from the same show? Ah, the 90's. Best years of my life.

  • i love Soundgarden because they didn't try to sound like any of the other grunge bands and because they had some f**king balls unlike Rock Music today

  • I hate when people label Soungarden and AIC as grunge. they were just kick ass bands.

  • grunge is the best...dont take the grunge label as a bad thing man lol

  • Sorry, but grunge was a fad, if not, then tell me of one band that is still playing grunge.

  • Comment removed

  • hey i agree grunge was a fad but Local h still plays what I consider to be grunge

  • There's no such thing as "grunge". It's fucking rock music,...just rock music.

  • oh, so you act like this is the first time you ever heard it referred to as grunge! lighten up. So that means there is no "metal" , "glam" alternative" "folk" music right?, its all under one name ROCK.

  • No, I just said "grunge". The term used as a selling point/marketing gimmick to sell music made by mostly four bands to come out of Seattle in the early 90's. All of which had their own distinct and unique take on rock and metal. Don't want to get in a lengthy discussion regarding "genre", "sub-genre", etc. I just think there are bullshit terms ie, grunge, alternative, etc, that are used strictly as marketing gimmicks by the industry. BTW, I loved all the "grunge" bands from the early 90's.

  • Comment removed

  • I think people label anything that came out of Seattle in the late 80s/early 90s as "grunge" and don't see much of a follow-through. I always hated that term. But there was glam rock in the 80s. (And how much, in terms of mucial style for a lot of it, was it different than much other rock from the 70s or 60s?). Some of the Seattle-based bands just plain rocked. Screw the monikers. NIRVANA, Alice in Chains, Soundgarde, PearlJam....Oh yeah, and Jimi in the 60s. So maybe there IS longevity!

  • @milpoolXXX

Dude< there is nothing wrong with that term...nothing at all...seriously us seattle people(cause i do live in seattle) are responsible for the greatest rock genre there is haha...seriously..and jimi hendrix has his own story haha

  • Fucking right. It's all about the balls.

All of these bands that come out left and right have no soul. They all sound exactly the goddamn same.

We need another band to come out and give the music industry a kick in the fucking nuts.

  • Wonderful soundgarden with chorus Eddie vader:)

  • im without words, breath or anything!!

  • too bad Chris is making bad music now. SG needs a reunion that would be amazing!

If anyone is thinking about listening to pearl jams new single "The Fixer", don't waste your time, it's horrible. (This is coming from one of the biggest SG/Chris Cornell and Pearl Jam fans EVER, seriously)

  • BEST TIMES!

    Badmotorfinger!

    5/5!!!

  • who knows man maybe he´s just doing a little a kind of fear. and making it more interesting

  • why eddie's not allowed to show his face??

  • of course dude!!! vedder does the backing vocals

  • awsome voice

  • who is doing the chorus?

  • That year:

Escenario principal: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ministry, Ice Cube, Soundgarden, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Pearl Jam, Lush, Temple of the Dog Segundo escenario: Jim Rose Circus, Sharkbait, Archie Bell, Porno for Pyros, Basehead, Cypress Hill, House of Pain, Sweaty Nipples, Arson Garden, Seaweed, Seam, Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E., The Look People, Stone Temple Pilots, Vulgar Boatmen, Truly, Skrew, Tribe, The Authority, Samba Hell, Rage Against the Machine, Chris Cornell y Eddie Vedder.

  • this is gold.

wise man Eddie backing his friends, it couldn't be better!

  • SG kicks nirvana's ass any day of the week. Chris vs Kurt there's no contest that cornell is better

  • soundgarden fuckin rocks

  • fuck ya and AMEN to dat man. :D

  • @fatpig3545 Exactly...Soundgarden Kicks Nirvana's ass!!!!

  • @fatpig3545 Soundgarden were my favorite of all the Seattle bands but Nirvana were great too....

  • @fatpig3545 Nope..Kurt Cobain would have never worked with Timbaland! Cornell sold out!

  • @RebelThoughts

Who cares? you didnt like Soundgarden? so, Fuck them and fuck you, if u want talk about vocals, im gonna talk about cornell and layne staley....I Like Nirvana and kurt cobain voice´s, but....he´s like a pussy comparated with Chains and Soundgarden....

  • @blitzkiller3178 First, Nirvana is much more raw than pearl jam. why they in the same sentence. Secondly, just cause a dude shouts and shit dont mean hes got bigger balls than kurt. that guy had the balls to care so much that it killed him. His balls hang lower than all these guys. give me a break man. Shit. I like soundgarden too though..i dont know man..i just disagree. it takes balls to care and shouting doesnt mean you have balls. kurt shouted just as loud as this dude though..hatin on kurt

  • Chris Cornell was a better singer than Kurt Cobain when they were both in their prime. That's a fact, and anyone who's not a Nirvana fanboy will agree with me. Cornell didn't just "shout" for the sake of shouting. It fit the music perfectly, and his range was literally incredible. I don't understand where you're getting the notion that Kurt was the only one who "cared" about his music. Me thinks your Nirvana homerism is getting the best of you.

  • @Badfish228 Lmao Well, i guess its all subjective really. Chris Cornell is cool. nothing wrong with the guy. Just dont find him to be all that much a big deal really. Personally, if i had to stab a guess...Cobain was more sincere and believable in his voice than Cornell. Not saying Cornells a poser...just dont believe him when hes singing as much. Nirvana fan boy? lol. Nirvana Homerism? hahaha....thats great man. Would argue but why? Its true. Soundgarden is cool but they aint all that..

  • @AbsintheColour UMm Chris Cornell's voice is the voice of god 4 octave range. Cobain has mabie 1this is a bad video

  • @AbsintheColour They are "all that" bro haha

  • @ZGippe40GK lol. Considering comparisons to today..thats very true

  • @AbsintheColour Compared to everything.not just the 2010 shitty bands lol

  • @ZGippe40GK Yeah, I ll agree with that. THey are amond the very best that ever have come along...Good quick points ZG...nice.

  • @AbsintheColour cobain had balls? give me a break..lemme guess..you want to put a shotgun in your mouth too right? fuckin idiot. Layne forever.

  • @MrTufflong yeah, he had balls. A big hairilicious ball sack. You dont like Cobain. Good for you. Your a bit too Agro anyway. Calm down there. Ya? haha

  • @fatpig3545 LOL, who is the idiot that compares a guy like cornell a guy that kurt cobain? kurt just have a nice voice...just that, chris was and is one of the best vocals in the earth......alice in chains and soundgarden kicks nirvana and pearl jam...

  • @fatpig3545 Apples and Oranges, my friend.

  • Comment removed

  • @andrewcramer13 there both amazing bands. its an opinion not a fact so quit the bullshit fucking debate

  • how can someone change so much?

  • time.

  • BEST SONG EVER!!!!!!

  • So much better than Nirvana

  • Hmm ... Naaah ...

  • Hmm ... Yaaah ...

  • Dead wrong 15in1. Nirvana doesn't hold a candle to Soundgarden. It's not even close.

  • shit compared to SG!

  • Fu**ing You Tube won't let me post my forum link

  • haha
