  • How would the communities be encouraged to act more sustainably?

  • instead of eco-towns, they should replace the vey old buildings from victorian times into homes are similar to the homes in eco-towns. Then if they are successful, UK should slowly progress to making eco-friendly homes on brownfield sites. This will stop urban sprawl, which ecotowns can create.

  • @djokovic28 They shouldnt out and out replace the Victorian buildings, just make them more eco friendly

  • 'can i answer the question!? thank you' hahaha

    she is so stroppy!

  • @R3tr0Gam8R I agree you noob.

  • Try PTCorporation cash train, its fantastic give it a try! View our channel to see what you have to do.

  • @P2Corporation Fuck off, we don't want your corporate trash here.

  • Eco towns need to be built in the abandoned cities not in farm districts and small town areas. The whole concept is just a somewhat condensed version of sprawl. The developers are jumping on anything that continues the same old same old. They take their profits and leave all the traffic and infrastructure problems for areas without. Another scam as long as this goes in open areas.

  • @jobedied Actually, the majority of propesed sites are on brownfield, and as for the traffic and infrastructure problems, the eco-town developers trust the governemnt of the towns to the local people.

  • @TheImpressionable trust the town you are deluded the town council people are getting kickbacks to allow this modified sprawl scam. Once you bring in one of these eco towns into your community then comes new schools, more police, taxes going up by 20% to50% who the hell do you think you are fooling people in the states and england see through bull shit developer lies. Developer = criminal theft of communities, their culture, and an influx of crime. EVIL EVIL profiteers that should be jailed.

  • @jobedied I agree with you on the issue of developers - they will just snatch up green field land if we do not protect it. In spite of this though, I believe developers should work by a carrot and stick policy - the carrot will be the ability to develop a new town and the stick should be the responsibility the developers should have to renovate existing housing stock and make it more eco friendly - I say for every eco town that is built its equivalent in renewed housing stock should be built

  • There's no need for eco-towns in the first palce. If u do the research u'll find that global warming is a big lie. Check out David Icke global warming.

  • If Ms Flint actually answered the questions that were asked insted of reverting to typical labor party spin we may be better informed but as usual no straight answers...

  • Flint does very well. She shows him to be very rude and pushy.

    GO Eco-Towns. Woooo

  • the interviewer is not a good reporter, he didnt let her finish a single sentence, without interupting her answers

  • Well done for putting this up! Eco, no way.

What a terrible idea, force this stupid ill conceived idea on the local populations, take no account of how they feel and crush the green fields beneath concrete for ever! about time this government was built over. Its lost touch.
