  • "One nice thing about the situation I find myself in is that I will be held accountable. I've got four years. ...And a year from now I think people are going to see that we're starting to make some progress, but there's still going to be some pain out there. If I don't have this done in three years, then there's going to be a one-term proposition." --President Barack Obama to Matt Lauer on NBC's "Today," Feb. 2, 2009

  • "if we are keeping focused on all the fundamentally sound aspects of our economy, all the outstanding companies, workers, all the innovation, and dynamism in this country, then we're going to get through this. And I'm very confident about that." Do you guys know who said that?

  • SO i guess things can never change? 100 years from now you cant say we have a strong economy cause according to the gop.. nothing ever changes. Anyways he says "aspects"

I know yall think school and learning is liberal, but i suggest you look that word up before making big fool of yourselves.

  • What a hypocrite! He blasted McCain for talking about the sound fundamentals of the economy during the election. Now he says the same thing.

  • So.......during the election McCain said the economy is fundamentally strong and gets hammered by the left wing. Bet you won't hear a peep from them now. Controlling what stories are reported is fun.....YAY!!!!!!

  • Someday in the future, will Obama's daughter Malia Ann complain when he takes 39% of her babysitting earnings and hands them to her sister Sasha?

  • This is the epitome of hypocrisy... I remember a certain campaign ad where McCain was utterly destroyed for saying nearly the exact same thing.

And our economy was stronger back then too...
