XDlmfao dude i mean no offense to the spanish language, but i just CANNOT imagine a spanish vulcan, i mean it should be a good thing actually. because the spanish language is so passionate, every word like exudes this, like emotion, plus the accent would be really weird on a vulcan. XD lmao can you imagine?

i was just thinking, how would the movie sound like dubbed in spanish? do you think the attitude and acting in the voice carries over? part of what I liked about the movie were the characters accents. can you make British and Russian accent while speaking Spanish? ... i'm intrigued.

There are many Latino accents in the world, so it's possible to pick one that has a similar flavor to whichever English accent (whether American, British, Scottish, or industrialized)

Also possible that dubbing (of not mains) will be like a Russian speaking Spanish etc. You can hear a Russian accent thru English talk, yeah?

Still--dubs very rarely do as well as actors of the alpha language. It's impossible to translate both naturalness AND intention with perfect accuracy from another language.

It's because they've done like a hundred similar interviews till now. They just stay in the press room for hours and a new interviewer comes in every 20 or so minutes. Chris Pine even says here at the end that he'd used the phrase about the meal only once in a previous interview so it it's ok. They get animated only when they get weird or funny questions.

It's hard to establish a candid ease with the interviewer when you cannot understand the language you are being interviewed in... much less understanding the nuances (everything is so literal... no punch lines, no jokes nor easy banter). The arrangement seemed much more impersonal than other ones as well. This could be an explanation for their awkwardness.
