  • hi budi... do u have a tutorials MPD24 for??? i cant make it works with reason... the nubs ok, and butons too, but the pads dont works.. im new in this if someone can help....??

  • @ZONAZETA You have the install the vysex cd you got with the package

or if you don't have it search google for vysex mpd24! Then open reason

and go to the preferences so you can setup your mpd with the vysex you've installed and then everything should be workin, let me know peace

  • lol @ 0.56

  • if youre not figuring it out for your self you will never learn....

  • Thank you , now I know what to do.....

  • Couldnt you just download an mp3, useing a simple sound recorder (on most pc's), take a sample of a track, then drop it onto the MPC ??

How does the MPC connect to a PC - via USB ??

  • nope... needs to be able to be converted by the MPC to an internal proprietary format...

and it records with audio outs.... 1/4"... doesn't connect to the PC, just the audio interface.

  • 1000/2500/5000 all have usb ports.. you can chop mp3s/wavs in a program like soundforge/audacity and dump them into the mpc. and chop them inside the mpc.. you also need a Compact Flash card to store your samples and drums on.. and you can also use a turntable like the other poster said..

  • The experiance was ruined by my 8mb BT broadband connection

  • LOL at tapeing the MPC to a cardboard box for angle!

  • so i just got my mpc,so i have to get beats from a record or instrutmental just to play a kick or a drum,so there is no drums programed in the mpc,i got it from

a friend so i dont no if i can with a disk with beats i need a answer

  • depending on what mpc u got, chances are you u dont have any sounds. What you need is a turntable for you to sample of records or mp3's. I think since most of music is literally in cd n mp3 format, the turntable most suitable for sampling would be the CDX.

    check it out.

  • o i understand already

  • but how connect the mpc to the turntable?

  • you need a DJ mxer to send the signal from the turntable to the mpc. its like your mediator if you will. its a must.

  • Why not just buy a turntable preamp?

  • this was helpful, really. what most of these cats are saying on youtube are a jamble of different things. it's all about their preamps, their equipment..this is so much more thorough and basic. thanks.

  • do u know what port number on fl studio do I use for my Akaimpc 2600 I use a usb cabel ut I don't know the other

  • thank you guys man...u guys really helped me foreal! im glad someone made sense
