I've read this story multiple times in school. Elementary school, middle school, high school. Hey, I even read it in Spanish. It's a sad tale, but more than that it's an inspiring one.

Funny, I was thinking of this story last week. I remembered it from ninth grade English, long ago. It's the only story I recall from that class- that's how much of an impression it made on me. Thanks for reading it.
