Based on what we know for sure about cops, we can discern that all cops are "sane" and free of harmful mental illness as they must take part in various psychological examinations to make sure that they will not do anything like this. Sure, in some TV shows cops aren't completely mentally stable, but that's not real life. Bottom line: If it really was a cop firing a weapon at someone, they likely had some form of probable cause to have done so.

Based on what we know for sure about cops, we can discern that all cops are "sane" and free of harmful mental illness as they must take part in various psychological examinations to make sure that they will not do anything like this. Sure, in some TV shows cops aren't completely mentally stable, but that's not real life. Bottom line: If it really was a cop firing a weapon at someone, they likely had some form of probable cause to have done so.

What you can't hear in the video (maybe it was edited out) is the officer ordering the suspect to show himself. Cop was yelling at the guy for about ten seconds to step out from behind the SUV, place his hands in the air and lay down on the ground. Instead the guy reached behind his back. Can't say I feel sorry for him or that this was a racially motivated shooting.

Makes sense considering your comment. Best of luck to you, i'll hopefully have some luck up North with the PD thing. Just submitted an application for the initial testing process. I'm a vol. FF and an EMT right now, if I can't get on the PD somewhere, i'll probably just try to get on the FD, then probably still test for the PD lol unless I absolutely already LOVE my job. if you had to guess you'd be wrong i have family in the department and several other departments in the area and across the country. i have experience form the inside ont the outside. if you dont see the corruption its cause your blind. im pointing out fact.

Whatever my friend, in all honesty, I don't support the abuse of power in Law Enforcement, any other public service, government, etc. Maybe you know the inside true details from this case from family within the department as you say. However, I do not. There are a lot of people just trying to trash cops out there, so I take vids like this with a grain of salt. He looled like he was reaching for something to me. Regardless, I don't know the story and I can't judge by 23 seconds.

like i said yeah the cop reacted and probably wouldve been justified had it been a legit shooting but it didnt make news adn this area wouldve made news. it is a cover up and noone has any guts in this state to stand up to the cops who have turned it into a mockery of justice
