  • HI, nice video. I have never been to this place yet.I plan to go soon though!

Did the counsel finalize the maintenance program??

i hope its still in good condition?

    thanks for uploading

  • @maltijien Thanks so much for your compliments. We have been to this beautiful garden several times and even on Sundays in the past few years. This garden lives up to its name "Serenity". You will love it there.

We are not aware of the maintenance program. Will look it up at the Council's website. I trust that the Council will take good care of this garden as the Mayor and his team are very efficient.

    Best regards from Mosta,

    Jasmine

  • lovely ...chinese gardens has a sense of peacefulness and tranquility..great culture

  • Thank you, futuramark. One would feel a different world when visiting the Chinese Garden as it lifts up to its reputation as its name The Serenity Garden'.

  • hey i live in santa lucija :D

  • If you came out that day we took the photos we would have featured you in our video :))

  • Before I left Malta to live in the U.K.I used to live in Santa Lucija[1980-1984],[I am originally from Zejtun [lived there 1962-1980]so I missed the opening of this beautiful garden, but since 2000, I visited it a few times [my mum lives in Santa Lucija] and got photos to enjoy and proud to show off too.Grazzi.

  • Sorry for replying late - thanks for your comment and yes, you should be proud to show photos of the Serenity Garden because it's very beautiful.

We have a few videos about Zejtun on our channel.

  • I enjoyed watching your photo/video production, of the Garden of Serenity, that we have in Santa Lucija. Unfortunately, the garden needs immediate maintance, especially the wooden structure, hopefully,by the end of this year,my council, will finalise, this maintance program, which is a bit costly.

Anyway, once again Prosit!! for the clip, and also the music. When in Santa Lucija do come and see us.

    Frederick Cutajar

    Mayor of Santa Lucija

  • Thanks Frederick. You have a very beautiful garden and hope you'll get the maintenance going because we surely don't want to lose it.

Thanks for the invitation - we'll drop by next time we're in the area.

    Alfred & Jasmine

  • Thank you for your kind comments.

We both are from Mosta and live in Malta. We'll send you the song through you private mail.

  • I enjoyed watching this video. I used to visit the garden quite frequently some years ago.

From your channel I saw that you're from Mosta, just like I am. Hope you visit Malta again, it's the best place in the world.

I like the song in this video. I would like to know the title; you may use Chinese characters if you want.

Thanks to your video, some Maltese might understand more about Chinese culture and why the Serenity Garden is characterized the way it is. ;-)

  • Thank you for watching Renee and Louis. Once you are inside the gardens, you will be embraced by its beauty and serenity. Besides, those artistic architectures will just take one's breath away.

    Cheers,

    Jasmine & Alfred

  • Proset Alfred and Jasmine, I visited this garden plenty of times but at times they seem to neglect the water features in it, good and appropriate song too...........Louis

  • This garden looks so peacful and serene. I will have to visit it next time I am in Malta. Thanks for sharing this.

    Renee

  • Thanks John. Yes it is a serene garden and one can admire the Chinese traditional designs which are exceptionally beautiful.

The song was, of course, the choice of Jasmine. It matches the serenity of the Garden.
