I love how in this scene john and george are playing acoustic guitars but the soundtrack they use was recorded with electric guitars! The guys who do these beatle films never pay attention to detail!
in my opinion, the guy who played lennon wan't bad, as it went on he began to look like him more, he just spoke a little quickly and sounded Irish but otherwise he did a good job
This movie is really annoying in a lot of ways. Terrible acting, and george and John look nothing like them at all. They sound nothing like them. John is nothing like that moron trying to act like him. And they get the story wrong in too many ways. They really should have studied the facts and stories from the actual people instead of just making shit up...
@elevatordudedave97 Ah, the flaming pie. It's a regular sighting around here. Sayrth the elevated combusting crust.."Marxist envirofascism et al and the filth of Islam is gonna kill us all, riight enough".
Is it historically correct that Stu Sutcliffe came up with the band's name? I have been a Beatles fan for decades, and I have always heard that John came up with the name based on Buddy Holly and the Crickets. He had the story about the flaming pie and a man who declared that they would be called the Beatles (with an "a"). But, Stu? This is the first that I have ever heard of his being the originator of the name.
@Doleafol What I've read is that they had a huge group discussion and they wanted something like Buddy Holly and The Crickets and John came up with "Les Beat" which is obviously french and once both of those words are turned around its Beatles.
@Doleafol Well, it's believed that it was created during a conversation between the two...so...yeah, as historically as a lot of Beatles mythology, I guess.
Pete didn't join the band till right before they went to Germany in 60, before that Colin Haskel was their drummer, when he left the group Paul played drums or friends who could drum played with them.
To be clear, his name was Colin Hanton, not Haskel. He was not the drummer for the Beatles (I know you didn's say this, but it was unclear) ... Pete Best was the "Beatles" first drummer, the longest playing drummer until Ringo, and definitely "played" with the Beatles on more live gigs than ANY drummer (including Ringo).
@XBlackElite John was a jackass in rael life....just a very rude ignoant person who made it big....and in rael life he was not actuaklly this nice.....
