im thinking to buy this piano for me. to start learn piano and later hopefully my daughter will do it also. is it worth it? the price for what you get? i love the music and the way you play. bravo
Got my new piano and totally love it. Where did you get the piano sheets for the music. I tought I found the version you were playing but the version I found is way too easy and doesn`t sound as nice. Would love to get the one you are playing
first, congratulation to your new piano :) you will enjoy playing it...
actually there is only the "easy" sheet .. feel free to improvise a little :) what i'm playing is (besides that this version is awful, as i just realise by listening to it for the first time after 4-5 months ^^) not 1:1 from the piano sheet... begin with playing the "easy" version and then step by step try to give it colour with your creativity, music is flexible :D
Thanks for sharing. Was hesitating between the CLP 370 and the 380. Now I'm convinced! Will go buy the 380 next week. You play very well. This was a song I didn't know and I fell in love with it. I have found the partitions so it will be one of the first I learn once I am able to play mo old repertoire (I haven't had a piano for about 5 years and really miss it) !!!
a very good timbre, but sill i don´t get it why ppl still buy such expensive samplers when they could buy the real thing for even less money and undoubtly a better and more natural timbre.
hey! ... yeah my motivation to buy a sampler was, that it makes it possible to easily record something; with a real piano i couldn record that well (i would have to place microphones somewhere in my little room, which makes the sound just awful!) with the other sounds on the clp380 i can also set up several arrangements (by just connecting it to my pc with a cable)! but i get your point and i myself would like to buy a grand piano, ... problem only: i just don't have room for it :)
I agree, recording a piano is a hard task, i have studied how to record properly my upright, it would cost 300$ on equip n still have a mediocre results due to my living room being too noisy and not acoustic prepared. But still i find studing and playing on a good upright much more satisfactory, i understand ur preference, but u could have bout a midi controller and used a good soft sampler instead and having a upright acoustic wich is about the lateral and depht size of a clav. cheers
and there is one more reason why friend: "Yamaha technicians selected a Yamaha CFIIIS full concert grand with the best sound quality and finely tuned it under the best conditions" That's the description for clavinova series, especially this 380. and i believe most pp fail to afford the CFIIIS, so it is a wise choice to go w digital piano. CLP380, same sound as CFIIIS,but less money, not to mention no need tuning. :)
Even if the clavinova is sampled based on a grand concerto, when i play one of these, i still feel that it has an artificial hollow sound and harmonics, i would prefer having a good reformed upright (or if u could afford and good restaured, 1/4 or 1/2 grand) installed with pianodisc (wich would give the midi/mute funcionality of a digital) than a keyboard sampled on grand piano much more expensive. Ow, about "never need tunning", thats a insignificant drawback of acoustics IMHO.
no maintainance,no costly tunings, easy to move around, can play any time without disturbing people using headphones, easy to record the sound via outputs, less costly...I paid 3200 dollars for my clavinova without all the bells and whistles...
hard to tell... i began at the age of 8, little by little my interest in playing got lost, with 15 i quitted and now with 18 i've found new motivation :) but the basics didn't get lost, fortunately...
i have to admit, that this take is quite a lousy one ^^ i can play it much better but i just had to upload it because of the sound of the piano, which i wanted to share :)
if you are a beginner, the 340 would do its job perfectly :)
the 380 is so to speak the top of the 300 series... I, of course, would recommend the 380, because the difference to a real piano or pianino (regarding the feeling of the claviature and the sound) is not too big!
Sounds great!! I would love a piano that sounds like a concert piano.... This is pretty close (?) ^.^'
