I need help. I did my reasearch on the whole freeloader thing. I have a U.S. wii and I am trying as hard as I can to avoid getting a Japanese wii. My problem is that I bought Tatsunoko vs. Capcom but did not get freeloader because my wii is updated to 3.3anyway(I bought the game b4 I found out what version of firmware I had). Can someone tell me if there is an easier way to play this game without the possibility of destroying my Wii System?

The easiest way now is to buy the U.S. reetail release. It comes with additional characters and wi-fi play.

you can downrade your wiis you know. Nintendo blocked the freeloader because update 3.2 somehow made it so you can play back up wii games.

the freeloader will never be fixed, nintendo discs are signed specially. the freeloader takes advantage of a bug thats fixed in 3.3. watch my video it doesn't use discs it uses a modified save that isn't blocked!

how much memory u need on your sd card for the homebrew channel and any side affects from it? lol and i see alot of people bought the freeloader for brawl

install the wii homebrew channel + the app: gecko region free. it plays all import games on 3.3x firmware. hope this helps.

will the homebrew channel + gecko region free work with jp gamecube games too? (naruto GNT 4 cough*) also could you post a website that tells about installing the homebrew channel? i think it would really help some people

It's called 'wiibrew' just search for 'homebrew channel' and you'll get it...

Nope, unfortunately you have to start all over again, but I suppose that is better than being left with a copy of SSBB that is rendered absolutely useless.

I bought a pal (European region) copy of SSBB from a local department store, when I got home I swapped the disc over with my blocked US region copy of SSBB and took that disc back to the store and said that it didn't work and asked for a refund. The only notable difference between the two disc is the age rating on the US copy, it say's 'T for teen' and the UK copy say's '12+'.

If you do this make sure you buy it from a department store and 'not' a video game specialist store.
