CSS is exactly that, a graphical update to CS. Stalker does have good graphics but why should that matter? Besides that 2 years old is a little old sure, but it also has an active modding community adding plenty of content to the game. Serious Sam 3 didn't completely flip the formula no, but it was a sequel nonetheless, had new levels, new guns, new characters etc etc. That's exactly what a sequel does, Hl -> HL2. L4D -> L4D2. BF -> BF2.
I get 15MB+ speeds (could ge higher but I play most of my games on a laptop away from my router so I'm not getting 5/5 bars so for the sake of my point I'll use this), Skyrim? 6.28gb. 628/15 is just under a minute. Granted, I probably won't get that speed every time consistently, but it will remain fairly close. In the time it would take me to drive to a store, buy the game, drive home and install it, well, yeah. I forget why we're talking about this though.

Also don't confuse MB for Mb...there is huge difference and a lot of people don't know that a it takes 8Mb to equal one MB...even a lot of the people at your local isp don't know the difference. So in just under a minute....um no even at 15 MB a second...not to mention you have to verify game files and unlock them after you dl them.

@TheAzeDK Hi. It all depends on the CPU you have. Counter Strike is not a GPU based game, it is a CPU based game. So in fact of you had Quad SLi with 580's and an old CPU you would reach high FPS either.
So aim for a midclass GPU, but a highclass CPU. If i were you i would buy i7 2600k or a fast AMD CPU.

V Sync just limits the FPS to stop splitting in the image, without V-sync you still get a cap of whatever the HZ is maximum. . .

The sad part is its only actually displaying 60 on the screen, or perhaps if you have a different hertz monitor maybe 75, 70, 120 etc..

@TheAzeDK Hi. It all depends on the CPU you have. Counter Strike is not a GPU based game, it is a CPU based game. So in fact of you had Quad SLi with 580's and an old CPU you would reach high FPS either.
So aim for a midclass GPU, but a highclass CPU. If i were you i would buy i7 2600k or a fast AMD CPU.

@TehDevl Hi.
I have not used any tweaks or configs. The game is standart as it is when it is installed.
I am getting that many FPS because of CrossFireX and an overclocked Phenom II 965 clocked to 4.2 GHz.

@TehDevl You should buy an Intel Core i7 2600k and a GTX 580 or 560 and Corsair Dominator RAM. Then you are almost there :)
