I think it was just a few days ago, but a new DBZ game was kinda announced, its coming out this fall, and Akira Toriyama is working on it directly...they promise that it will change DBZ games and will be truly different...perhaps new sagas and story? No matter what it is, im gonna buy it...im a hardcore DBZ fan...i have a Trunks's sword replica for gods sake...i need a new DBZ fighter aside from BL and RB2....
I have every dbz game on ps2 and ps3 and in my opinion BL is one of the best, it is better then RB but not RB2 because well,RB got another chance to remake there game and the only reason there better is because RB has better supers for some characters...

DBZ Burst Limit is the shit.. The gameplay reminds me of Budokai 3 which i still play to this day cause it is also the shit.. Flying around and movement in Tenkaicha and Raging Blast are alriight.. But i'd rather just have a single camera view and with traditional movements which are improved greatly in Burst Limit.. I would Love for there to be a Burst Limit 2, going a least into the buu saga if not further.

Burst Limit 2 should be a tune up version of Budokai 3/Infinite World, it goes all the way up to the en of GT series, and should include some other characters from the DBZ movies who are actually badass i.e. Turles, Super 13, Bojack. They could have an online version of the world tournament.
sorry they wont because Burst Limit was just a test to see how the next gen of dbz would be like, there for explains the lack of stages characters and saga's. This is why I hate most new gen gamers. It's because of their retarded taste in games that there is a RB2 now instead of a BL2. The tenkaichi series is a shallow masher with little depth that adds way more characters than it should. They are too easily impressed by huge rosters (of which they will only use 5 or so chars anyway) and overly flashy moves with destroyable backgrounds instead of thinking about the gameplay.
BL had the potential to be the best dbz game ever with some gameplay fixes and additional content (which would mainly be the Buu saga stuff among other things)

With the budokai games they actually improved each sequel. I hope they will do it with this game too. It takes long for them to bring out a sequel. Maybe its a good sign that theyr working long on it. =p Some things i want back are the budokai 3 struggles, awesome looking ultimates (with another defense/attack method i hope) and more characters. =p

@hotwhire And you still don't understand how limited the stage space is in Budokai? This is why I'd rather have tenkaichi over budokai. Budokai is just Tekken, where characters don't fight like in the cartoon and there are a lot of limitations. Tenkaichi however, you have a lot of free space, break things freely and the fights are more DBZ-like rather than Tekken fights. This is why we rather have Tenkaichi, it sticks more with the cartoon.

Because Budokai is based too much on ground, it could of worked better with classic Dragon Ball. Slow progress AKA Spike's Dragonball games all looking 90% the same and hardly any real amazing changes. Tenkaichi lets you fly? so what? The fight system is heavily broken in RB.

That's one of my disappointments about RB, the combo chains were never explained making goku the easiest character to chain a combo if done properly, while other characters have combo chains that don't involve melee.
@hotwhire Piccolo vs Piccolo was from a DBZ episode when Piccolo trains himself during the saiyan saga. But that fight scene took place near a river if I remember correctly.
About Krillin vs kid buu, it was also from a DBZ episode, but it only lasted 5 seconds in the cartoon so there was no need for it.
@hotwhire The only way for it to be unnecessary is for it to have never occurred in the series or it was too short. Which it had happened and it was half an episode long. The only fight that's unnecessary is Krillin vs kid Buu. So there's no excuse for Piccolo vs Piccolo to be excluded from Story mode.

If there are no training footage, then how are we suppose to know if they got stronger or not in the first place? It DOES change the story, it makes it look like nobody had the need to train in order to fight stronger enemies and the enemies will seem weaker in thought of the audience for the lack of training scenes.

DBZ Burst Limit is the shit.. The gameplay reminds me of Budokai 3 which i still play to this day cause it is also the shit.. Flying around and movement in Tenkaicha and Raging Blast are alriight.. But i'd rather just have a single camera view and with traditional movements which are improved greatly in Burst Limit.. I would Love for there to be a Burst Limit 2, going a least into the buu saga if not further.

to me burst limit was the best game they came out with that matched the ps 1 final bout 22. and i think final bout 22 IS the best dragon ball z game ever made! dont get me wrong i love the flying, special powers, of tenkainichi or raging blast...but to me it seems like they overdo alot of it...it gets boring playin that shit really quick. you gotta press all of these buttons, fly around, find ppl lol...i like more of the linear battle system, with the ingame level up system involved with final.

Burst Limit 2 should be a tune up version of Budokai 3/Infinite World, it goes all the way up to the en of GT series, and should include some other characters from the DBZ movies who are actually badass i.e. Turles, Super 13, Bojack. They could have an online version of the world tournament.

This is why I hate most new gen gamers. It's because of their retarded taste in games that there is a RB2 now instead of a BL2. The tenkaichi series is a shallow masher with little depth that adds way more characters than it should. They are too easily impressed by huge rosters (of which they will only use 5 or so chars anyway) and overly flashy moves with destroyable backgrounds instead of thinking about the gameplay.

With the budokai games they actually improved each sequel. I hope they will do it with this game too. It takes long for them to bring out a sequel. Maybe its a good sign that theyr working long on it. =p Some things i want back are the budokai 3 struggles, awesome looking ultimates (with another defense/attack method i hope) and more characters. =p
This looks less like the fights in the series but at least theyr fun and balanced. Hate the beam spamming and weird drama pieces tho lol.

All stages in Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and keep the same stages as in Burst Limit.
4. Tenchaichi 3 would probably be better, as Burst Limit is a continuation of the Budokai series, unless the game make a massve jump in gamplay (unlikely). So yeah, some people will probably wine about how Tenchaichi 3 is better, but probably not as far as to say the game sucks (at least most peoplei think).

@hotwhire And you still don't understand how limited the stage space is in Budokai? This is why I'd rather have tenkaichi over budokai. Budokai is just Tekken, where characters don't fight like in the cartoon and there are a lot of limitations. Tenkaichi however, you have a lot of free space, break things freely and the fights are more DBZ-like rather than Tekken fights. This is why we rather have Tenkaichi, it sticks more with the cartoon.

That's one of the things we like about Tenkaichi, it has a slight RPG feel where the characters get stronger just like in the anime. You'd take that away and turn it into a Tekken rip-off? Because Budokai is based too much on ground, it could of worked better with classic Dragon Ball. But the problem is the franchise itself makes it difficult to think of a balanced, mimic, fighting game out of it due to too much overpowering each other. Plus bust limit and raging blast were two disappointments to begin with.

That's one of my disappointments about RB, the combo chains were never explained making goku the easiest character to chain a combo if done properly, while other characters have combo chains that don't involve melee.

About Krillin vs kid buu, it was also from a DBZ episode, but it only lasted 5 seconds in the cartoon so there was no need for it.

The only fight that's unnecessary is Krillin vs kid Buu. So there's no excuse for Piccolo vs Piccolo to be excluded from Story mode.

If there are no training footage, then how are we suppose to know if they got stronger or not in the first place? It DOES change the story, it makes it look like nobody had the need to train in order to fight stronger enemies and the enemies will seem weaker in thought of the audience for the lack of training scenes.
