OMG! It's amazing I found this today!!! I was watching 1776 on dvd with my dad last night, and my mom walked by during that part where Adams is convincing Jefferson to write the declaration. When she saw their weird interactions and the whole "romping through Cupid's grove with great virility" (plus the prance) She honestly thought Adams was gay! XD The whole awkward moment with Franklin and Martha later didn't help much on that image XD rofl

Somebody loves the film 1776. I grew up watching this movie too, but I prefer the version before they monkeyed with it and deleted vital background music, like the scene when Adams "mind talks" to his wife up in the tower of the liberty bell. They completely took out that music that was so vital to the song that was to come and the emotion between Adams and Abigail.
