..Thank you! But please...I do know (Miyoko) the drummer, she played on my 1962 slingerland drum kit. They opened for my old band last yr. in Okinawa. They were a tough act to follow!! Chek out DEMONANDE...my new band.

You like nails-on-a-chalkboard-Ayu but you said what the hell when you heard this? Haw. Anyways, her voice is very similar to UA's, except with a more limited range, and it is frequently out of key. I don't know if that is intentional or not. Still good though.

Ayu's voice doesn't sound like nails on a chalkboard anymore, after years of singing, probably because her songwriters gave her such high pitched songs to sing. And you should not shoot down other people's opinions.

Good job replying to a year old comment. I was not shooting down his opinion. I merely questioned why he finds this singer's voice so "odd" when it is a lot more traditional compared to his favorite Ayu.

I just found out about this band about 5 seconds ago because I was looking for Ayumi Hamasaki's new single 1LOVE on yesasia, and found out about detroit7. When I first heard her voice, I was like: "What the hell?" but it really grows on you a second time :] I wanna hear the song: "Burn American Flags" or something like that. I find that song title to be a riot of laughter.
