This is the first video that has worked for me! I can play a very airy note, but still, that's something. Thumb this comment up so people can see my tip below.

To anyone having trouble with this technique, you have to make the shape with your mouth that you do when you say "who" (the same shape as when you whistle). Put your mouth against where your two thumb knuckles are touching (the last knuckles before the ends of the thumbs). Keep the mouth shape and blow. Start light but get heavier.

it is also possible to open the pocket by lifting the middle finger then it produces a high tone

it isnt that hard, the only problem is that you dont exactly know what you are doing wrong if it doesnt work and then it is very frustrating, often the angle is wrong and if it works one time you couldnt remember the angle

for anyone that cant do it this might help:

-make sure your thumbs are on top of your right hand

-adjust the size of the hole between your thumbs

-put your fingers on the knuckle bones that are right beneath your thumbnails so that only the bottom part of your mouth is blowing into the hole

-it doesnt have to be 100% air tight, just make sure there are no big holes

@77Polina The video doesn't explain this very well... as it is, the idea can be confusing without illustration. You blow through the gap between the thumb knuckles, and the air comes out just below your lower lip-- between the knuckle and the base of the thumb.
