If you use a VCR,you don't really need the splitters.The VCR already has the outputs on it,so those can go to the Dazzle,while the cables from the console(if that's what you're recording) go to the inputs on the VCR.

YOU DON'T NEED SPLITTERS, Mine works without them I have a regular tv, i plug the av cords into the dazzle and into the tv. I have no idea why the splitter thing came into the picture. All i have is a double sidded rc cable, 3 go into the dazzle and 3 go into the tv. works perfect.
