  • Nice ;) i love drums in this song ^^ :)

  • LIQUID METAL

  • In my humble opinion, NJ has never made a bad album/song/riff or anything! It's almost scary how good ALL of their music is, considering the diversity accross their albums in both sound and band members. Long live Norma Jean!

  • @13smid13 Never their songs are badass

  • i love the break in this song its over oh wait there's more to it

  • THE BES ALBUM OF NORMA JEAN IS O'GOD OF AFTERMATH I DONT KNOW WHY THEY DONT MAKE MORE ALBUMS LIKE THAT.

  • @juanbrasi you know ive listen to every music video but the ones from that album

  • @juanbrasi Bless the Martyr, Kiss the Child.

  • @juanbrasi because the old vocalist left to join the chariot

  • norma jean had some better shit but this is still badass

    nothin but props

  • 5 people have never felt it before

  • sorta reminds me of everytime i die

  • @asdarknessfalls18 Similar sound, but completely different bands. ETID will always be #1 in my heart.

  • Thanks for the upload! I heard this on Sirius XM Liquid Metal station... didn't know the name of the song. Got it now. Thanks!

  • i've always loved corys singing

  • the anti mother cd sucked monkey nuts, but this new stuff is great.

  • Love this entire album. Incredible. Really good stuff. I'll always have a special place in my heart for The Redeemer .

  • Yeah...a friend of mine told me that new Norma Jean was good. He lied. It's still emotionless, badly-mixed, uninteresting garbage. The breakdown was a waste of my time. Whoever mixed this should be shot, there's no sense of tonality in any of the instruments. Worst guitar tone ever. Worst mixing job ever. Well, unless you count earlier Norma Jean.

  • In all honesty, I wasn't crazy about the last album. But, this one I am reallyyy digging.

  • Man I miss Dan, but Chris' drumming got pretty good...great song love it!!

  • @killinunderoath Actually Chris is a pretty good drummer. Have you heard his drumming in his old band Spitfire? He was pretty good there, I think his drumming in The Antimother was just for that albums style and "music theme", also it being his first album with the band.

  • @unresolved777 spitfire is fucking awesome.

  • nifty

  • okay ive just learned how to play this song, thumbs up if you have too

  • i think it is more the mixing that he sounds like josh. cory's first album w them, it seemed that his vocals were scooped, like there were no mid freq. after this album, it seemd like producers were experementing with his voice or something, as it sounds way different each time, the common factor is that every producer is BOOSTING his voice freq at around 2dhimid (Sounds like to me) and i find it annoying like when ever he says a "you" on the "'Y";ou, it makes me cringe. maybe cause im a wierdo.

  • @markeesdeath ahh i see. thanks for that explanation man. appreciate it.

  • man i love this song the chorus is so freakin epic and you can actually hear the guitars on this album

  • that riff(0:22) is so bad ass.

  • beef up, please bring a double pedal into this!!! >__<

  • @A7Xsnaff go listen to Bastadizer on Myspace. great breakdown. very impressive album.

  • @unresolved777

    thanks man

  • @A7Xsnaff dude it takes talent to drive a band without a double kick like this band does, listen to The Chariot or newer Underoath.

  • @A7Xsnaff I didnt realize you were the artist, maybe you should beef up and do it yourself, pusseh

  • @A7Xsnaff lol man there is so much taste to this song. Double bass ruins so much because drummers don't know how to use it. they fuckin puke double bass and i just turn it off lol

  • @A7Xsnaff their are reasons why some bands like this, dont use alot of the double pedal. not trying to be a prick.. but if this band use alot of double pedal, they would sound like all those other bands.

  • @A7Xsnaff you cant beef up norma jean, go snort more coke up your vagina

  • i fuk tree roots

  • @truwhitesoldier Me too :) me too....

  • Fucking awesome.

  • I thought they were trying to return to return to their roots with this new album?

It sounds closer to the Antimother than their earlier material.

  • @Guitarman1s as Cory has already stated, they are returning to their roots. roots does not mean O' God, or BTMAKTC, roots means, back in the day when they wrote music with out caring what anyone said. and just having fun with it. being able to do what they want, when they want, and not having some one "standing over" their shoulder... and technically Luti-Kriss is their roots, so becareful what you ask for.

  • @Guitarman1s also keep in mind that this is deffinatley not the finished product

  • @jmancope Uh, yeah it is. Lol.

  • @kforkarson Now it is cuz he reuploaded the audio. lol. The original was posted in may.

  • I Love how some bands reborn themselves.......thats talent...respect.

  • seems like a lot of people didn't like the Antimother album... I have to say I think it was my favorite.. vipers, snakes, and actors reminds me of pantera and the straightforward aggression of the song makes me feel like I could split the earth in two with my fucking forehead.. but I guess some people don't like it?

  • @theydisintegrate I love it as well. "The Opposite of Left and Wrong" is awesome.

  • uhmguhd...: )

  • man cant wait for the new norma jean album!!! im so pumped!!! greetings from mexicooo viva la norma jean carajoooo!!!!

  • Das Stellen der Aggression, um auf einer kräftigen Leine zu verwenden. Auf diese Weise können sie darauf und sick'em lose halten, wie sie passend sehen. Lieben Sie die Richtung.

  • this song is the shit I like old NJ too but like it or not this song is good

  • fucking eh! this song is sick. i loved bless and o god, and when redeemer came out it was a nice change. still agressive but more mature, more structured. anti mother came out and i was blown away by the difference in their earlier recordings and the risks they took by doing more experimental. listening to bands that change their sound because they are eveolving as musiciains changes you a music fan. i listen to so much weird and different shit now because of bands like norma jean. fuck you

  • @sc0ttsadick man i sure hope that comment isnt directed to me, cuz i love norma jean. own all there cds, even the origanl luti-kriss spit ep and 5ep. granted i have only been following them since o god, but my first album by them was bless the martyr. but i agree with you. norma jean helped me to expand my genres of music.

  • @sc0ttsadick Dude, Norma Jean has opened up my range to what I listen to now too. What do you listen to that you consider weird and different?

  • @sc0ttsadick your comment makes no sense. stop smoking crack and try again.

  • Good stuff... I like their new and old shit, and this song has the best of both worlds. Good job Norma Jean...

  • Song is sick. I'm to see this cd might be as good as their other four. Unlike Chiodos...

  • ...been hanging on tight for a new album. fuck yeah

  • Tbh I thought Antimother was one of their best albums. O God was just spastic randomness for the sake of spastic randomness. I prefer the more structured Norma Jean. I got some from a hot chick tonight.

  • @Jpwn3r Then you obviously do't know the real Norma Jean. Norma Jean was popular for their chaos. But now.....*sigh.

  • @Jpwn3r and it's not called spastic randomness.

  • @DiabloSVV12 Oh i do, I used to dig it. Then I stopped being an angry person. Maybe i'll take another look into their old shit. I still don't understand why their new stuff is bad. So it's more "accessible," structured, and still original. Where's the downside?

  • @Jpwn3r I don't know.....I just dream of the old Norma Jean too much. But o well, those are past times. It's kind of those things where you can never let it go because it's just to memorable. =)

  • @DiabloSVV12

Oh, I definitely agree with you. This sound is very interesting and very entertaining... But I've fallen off of the Norma Jean bandwagon. I used to devour these guys, but I've lost interest with their new sounds (Redeemer +AM). This song sounds awesome but I just cannot see myself growing fond of it and listening to it on my own. We will see, I am going to buy this album... I hope it suits my likings. :) I've noticed that I dislike their song structures more then anything now.

  • @Jpwn3r Well I kinda like this new album coming out. But I don't like how NJ siad the Antimother was dark and chaotic, because "Bless the Martyr" and "O God" were the only ones that had that. ................I don't know.....It's just one of those things that you can't let go because they're too memorable. =)

  • redeemer was pretty good and the anti mother was decent... but this is gold. it reminds me of old norma jean... like bless the martyr and o god the aftermath. i hope the whole new album sounds like this

  • I dont see why everyone hated antimother so much, it wasnt even that bad, not there best work by any means but certainly not terrible.

  • Sounds great. I agree the Antimother wasn`t that good, and that O`God was their best album, but all great bands usually have problems following up with something great after they made their best album ever. Faith No More had problems too, after Angel Dust.

  • Anti-Mother was awesome and so is this

  • This album should be called Redeemer 2... to redeem the travesty that was the Anti-Mother.

  • @boojan58 i agree bro. too true

  • the anti mother was bad, but this feels like its redeemer? its fucking awesome! yeah o god was the besttttttttt

  • thanks for uploading this!

  • Whoa, way to step it up Norma Jean. Niiice.

  • Sounds like they're jumping on the noise bandwagon, like Advent did. Not to say that it's a bad thing! This song rawks!

  • Its not a big deal if they don't sound like they used to at all bands grow all the time if your gonna be an idiot and stick to your precious "old Norma Jean" idea than best of luck keep yourself closed minded but just a fun fact there is no such thing as an "old Norma Jean" and 'A new Norma Jean" there simply amazing no matter what time period you listen to them at The Anti Mother was experimental and was great in my opinion in any case this song is amazing and the new album is another step up

  • This song is GREAT!

  • Every album Norma Jean has made has been incredible in it's own way. So what if no album has been similar sounding? How many bands today can create the same sound they made ten years ago, and still gain followers? Saves the Day, Green Day, Norma Jean, Underoath (not to good now, but just my opinion so hop off) all have changed a) their sound and b) their line-up. It's just obvious that they can't create the same sound over and over again.

  • i like all norma jean and this is just proving that even more

  • I think I might be the only person alive that thinks their first album sucks....love everything else since then.

  • @nicknad11 i know everyone loves the first one, and i love every other album

  • @nicknad11 i used to hate it too. bless the martyr grew on me like no other album though haha. i was always an o' god fan. best in my opinion

  • @nicknad11 I loved the instrumentals on Bless the Martyr, but I can't stand Josh Scogin's vocals. They're just bad.

  • to me.. it sounds like they're back to the mathcore like they promised

  • song isnt bad. Better than the last album

  • who gives a flying sack what the nut they sounded like before?! THIS song is awesome. if you don't like it.. listen to whatever you did like, over and over and over and over and over again, and see if you like doing that better. don't you ever get bored?

  • @theydisintegrate wow, how come the world isnt full of people like this? understanding, yet aggressive... i agree man.

  • @unresolved777 i agree my friend. i'm tired of people bitching about new norma jean vs old norma jean. they're like an entirely different band now. if you don't like it, shut up and listen to something you do. no one asked you to come bitching on here.

  • @unresolved777 No I haven't I'll go check them out. Yea good point but i think personally it kinda hard to match Dan but they both have different styles and good in there own way.

  • @theydisintegrate cant really say i would get bored, cuz those albums were that amazing.

  • @theydisintegrate It takes a while, but it does get boring after a few months.

  • this sucks compared to O'god and redeemer. but considering their last release its a step in the right direction.

  • whoa that was amazing.

  • yea. this works.

  • soooooooooooooooooooo great.

  • fuck yeah

  • yup
