Just would like to ask if you have any passage with musicians playing the ''viola de dez cordas''. It´s a wonderful instrument brought by the portuguese to Cape Verde and also widely used in the music of Brazil and Sri Lanka.

I am so happy to see such appreciation and respect shown for the music of my country, twenty years ago, this type of music was played only at home, funerals, family parties, processions or festivals in the praca in Cape Verde. This music is differing in Cape Verde. In America Cape Verdean americans have been producing this music for centuries. Cape Verdeans beiing the first portuguese speaking community in America, in New England as early as the 1700s, they came as whalers, fishermen etc
