@adamboswellsupra You are wrong dude. 320 bhp was what the UK spec and USDM spec Supras came out with (due to bigger 550cc injectors and steel-wheeled turbos, etc.). All JDM TT Supras came factory 280bhp.

@harris19863 Incorrect again. Due to the 1993 emissions laws, all Japanese domestic market Supras were limited to 280 bhp from factory (as were RX7s and R34 GTRs, NSXs, etc.). USDM and UK spec Supras were produced overseas and not being under the same regulations at the time, were able to implement larger 550cc injectors over the JDM 440cc ones, Steel-wheeled turbos over the JDM ceramic blades and higher lifted cams to bump up the power figure to a more respectable number.

@harris19863 Different people give different estimated power figures of JDM, UK and USDM spec Supras when dynoing them because of the varying dyno options available i.e. roller or hub dynos read very differently so can't be a good estimate for an average. Also consider that fact that every cars power figure is different and never right on the 280 or 320 hp figure, it could be say 10-20 hp less as well i.e. 260 hp or 300 hp.

@adamboswellsupra mustang cobras in 2003-2004 did the same thing but not for a gentlemans agreement they did it for insurance purposes. the car has roughly 450hp but they said 390 so that it wasnt in the 400s for insurance

but I think they don't have a torque limit so that's why you have that much :P

In north america and europe the turbo'd supras had around 320hp
