when i am recording video with 24p it looks kind of funny movement on my screen when i am doing on 60p it shows on my video screen normal, any help why with 24p looks kind of funny way.

film "Average" but 60i has its uses-Other than that "closer to home movie look" i saw-

60i can be used for certain intense action scenes AND is amazing for "true" slo-motion.

There's something about film that just has a distinct and unique beauty and character that the more common methods nowadays lack. So my question to you is, do you recommend the Canon HV20/30 + 35mm adapter for the look I'm interested to capture vs buying a 35mm film camera + risking screwing up the film?

@jaafilm Hey, I can answer this one for you. The reason you want to stay away from 60p is because when you increase the frames per second, you're actually making it look more like home video rather than cinematic style filming. If you notice in a 60p video, it's very smooth when the camera moves around. In a 24p mode, there is a slight bit of "strobe effect" when the camera pans around. That is actually a very good thing, because all movie style filming is done this way. We just don't notice.

How many f. stops would you say you lose through that adapter?

@thecakeisbake I have the Letus Extreme adaptor. I'm not quite sure how many f stops you're losing, but there is definantly some light loss. The key to my adaptor is to have your camera's lense iris set to Open and the adaptor 35mm lense set usually to the lowest setting. Then, use an ND filter as needed. Just bring in some additional lights if necessary. Don't worry, it's not too much light loss. Otherwise, no one would use these.

Cinevate rails and the battery is an Energizer Energi To Go pack. I have the AC adapters for the Component to VGA adapter and the 7" LCD running to it. I get about 2.5 hours runtime with it.
