I have both "A Quiet Normal Life, The Best Of Warren Zevon," and "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, The Anthology," which is a 2 CD collection and that song is on both of the albums. Love that song. I was just a little boy not excitable but little boy when it came out. Way to go Warren. May you rest in peace.

You know the 60's was the height of great rock music. But Mr. Zevon - he is the reason I don't criticize 70's rock. Some musicians came with a pocketful of original songs & creativity that stood toe to toe with the best of the 60's. Zevon is one of those boys. (OK if you count his work as Lyme & Cybelle -- he too is a 60's rocker. But his name was "made" as Warren Zevon -- and that was the 70's). This track is one of his classics. RIP & thanks Warren for leaving these songs behind for us.

oh god, this was one of my favorite songs as a kid fan of Warren Zevon.

I didn't have the inclination to hear the lyrics (i just found the music so damn catchy).

It's one of those songs that sounds positive at first, but then it turns out that it has a dark message to it. x-)
