to all people bitching about tapping. Tapping is equally important like any other technique and it does not show laziness! Infact tapping adds extra approach to reach notes usally impossible for fretting hand to react. tremolo tapping or be it simple tapping it is a technique afterall meant to spice up our guitar licks

it doesnt show laziness its just another way of playing guitar. In some cases it shows way more skill. Look at chris brodericks tapping skills.

When i was 14 it was all about speed and percision. i refused to listen to metallica and megadeth even though it was them who introduced me to this type of music. I got better and better and now at 18 i realize how naive i really was shutting out everything that was'nt melodic deathmetal. Now i appreciate all kinds of music and have gone back to playing Joe satriani and other great stuff. Though i must say, theres nothing quite like sweeping miles a minute across the fretboard.
