  • Awesome voice :')

  • reminds me of the original mixed with I Might Be Wrong guitar parts

  • no words. eternally grateful to this guy.

  • wow :-)

  • I imagine the crowd doing the York banana dance on Radiohead's concerts during this song.

  • sorta reminds me of follow me around

  • if anyone knows this tuning please let me know.

  • @taylor6string drop D :)

  • @tehlolrus cheers for that!

  • @taylor6string drop d

  • Wish studio TKOL would sound more like this instead of the popping electronic.

  • Reminds me of In Rainbows kinda. Love it

  • That's a Gibson ES-330, not a 335. An ES-330 has P-90's and is fully hollow.

  • This version is good but too rrepetitive

  • wow..just.. wow.<3

  • this version is genius

  • i dont have any idea of guitars, but this one sounds odd.... is it like a kind of "bastardsword", i mean a mix beween a bass and a guitar?

  • @Incubated81 It's just downtuned it's just a standard 6-string electric :) Gibson E335

  • Thoms took an elegant glance at the factors that impede our happiness. The defensive ego takes us away from our heart. In som cases actually rooting ego-defensive structures in the heart itself. As space is freed through subconscious lifting we can take an objective stance. Wounds can take wings and free themselves from the heart. Through the heart we learn to touch our soul. Trough the soul we live in bliss. We are all our own god. Live in your hearts pure curiosity.

  • @MegaSuperdonk Marijuana

  • what guitar is he using.

  • @ParthofthePigeons

    A Gibson E335

  • I like it, but the studio version is soooo much better. That voice loop at the middle just makes it. And the falsettos are better, but thats another thing

  • -mama I'm leaving

    - where child?

    - beating 17 other people?

    - Who?

    735-with more

  • @Samlihu How original. You faggot.

  • @EddyForeskin .l.

  • @Samlihu

    -mama im leaving

-child that joke is so old and lame get a grip

  • a man was once burned at the stake for speaking while thom yorke was performing.

  • 16 guys on our planet are total FAGS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That voice is amazing.

  • i'm viewer number 222,222. this stuff never happens to me on here! i love it when this sort of thing happens!

  • thom yorke is making the impossible to possible : )

  • I love your song so fucking much thom

so may be quit the weed and live a long life, will ya?

  • nice

  • light your fire and close your eyes.....P E A C E

  • Anyone got any live photos of Radiohead? Let me know, it would be much appreciated (:

  • lotus FTW!

  • as great as this is i actually like the studio version better. i think the vocal melody is way more haunting in the chorus, with that singular synth melody accompanying thom when he sings "slowly we unfurl..". the new album is a real grower.

  • i like both version;

live = the song is pure the lyrics seem more profond and we can't feel Thom's feeling

studio = lot of energy (boombomboomboobmombombom)

  • goosebumps

  • I like this live version much better than the studio version.

  • Thom Yorke is the king.

  • @Samlihu the king of limbs :)

  • a perfect man i ever know

  • I don't know why, but this is so much better to me. I'm hoping they don't do this to the present tense. It would destroy one the most potentially awesome songs they've ever made just because they're going through a dub phase.

  • when is the song on iTunes??

  • @Bootsjim now. its on the new album

  • This is awesome! Love it.

  • beautiful

  • you are my center when i spin away

    out-of-control--on

videotape on videotape on videotape on videotape on videotape on videotape on videotape on

  • awesome i love you Thom Yorke

  • this is eleven times better than the original!

  • @stickysappy this is the original

  • It is different without the dance. Better i say.

  • they play a bit of "all i need" in "codex" - true story

  • @MrSeppo2010 im sure that might be the reason they called it codex

  • I thought it was impossible to play this song only with guitar and voice..

I forgot it was thom yorke

  • @ccaaaiiooo i keep watching this video to remind myself it can be done

  • the bob robert version of this song is definetely worth checkin out

  • @samuth12 I noticed it too! They're tracks #1 and #2 on my most recent playlist. Very very good transition between the songs. When they perform this, I hope they start off with the acoustic version and then somehow transition to the studio version. That would be pretty cool.

  • Has any one noticed that the riff from PJ Harvey - This Mess We're In (feat. Thom Yorke)is the same as "Lotus Flower " ?? You notice it more on the acoustic version of lotus.

  • @samuth12 Yes, very very similar. Perhaps Thom had some rights to that song so decided to go a different direction with it? This mess weeeere iiiin at aaaaalllll is the same as cuuuuuttt meeee uuuppppp. Same vocal tonage.

  • no mames!! amo tanto a esta cabron!!!

  • huhu, love this !

  • TY TY

  • Loving this version more then the studio tbh, much more natural feel and flow.

  • Can't say I like it more than the studio version, but acoustic is bad ass. I just love the beat they laid down in the album, cant fuck with that. But this is definitely a raw version.

  • i love how everyone is being totally silent when hes playing. thats fucking respect

  • @AmuseMe543 that's radiohead fans for you

  • I prefer this version to the album one though. Must be the lack of guitars in the studio version

  • YES, FUCKING BITCHES! I WAS THERE!

  • RADIOHEAD É FODA ! UMA DAS MAIORES E MELHORES BANDAS DO MUNDO!

    SALVE SALVE RADIOHEAD!

  • THE KING OF LIMBS 2

  • i'm def feelin this version more than the album version for some reason

  • thank you !!! so beautiful !!!! j'aime !!!

  • geniaaaal!!

  • 10 times better than the final version. this version hybrid with the single version and suttle beats and electronic arrangement would've been much better as

the final mix is conforming with the recent electro indie stuff!

  • @thecarnagevisors2006 Do you not remember that Thom and Radiohead more or less pioneered a large sub-genre of 'electro indie stuff?' I agree, I like this better at times, but at times I don't. At any rate, who knows how they feel when they play it? And what sounds good to them? They've paid their dues, I think...

  • @rufiopan1 you're definitely right by dues, i guess they're just letting off steam. but as much as they embrace and pioneer electronica influences as they have done it's a bit lost without using some usual instruments in the mix as this version is better. i do think that releasing a single in the same vein of 'recent' sounds is like saying well we do it much better (but we'll do anyway). besides this band can do it better and will still be one of the most intelligent bands on the planet : )

  • @thecarnagevisors2006 Absolutely, I feel you. I think everybody misses Jonny and Thom on guitar a bit. I wonder what the hell Ed is playing? I do wish they would use a little more proper instrumentation in their arrangements, but the more I listen to it, the more I get it, too. I just got that "oh, I get it" thing and its corresponding shiver up the spine today.

  • Good call on them focusing on the rhythm and taking out the guitar in the studio version. The guitar figures are pretty close to what Thom does on I Might Be Wrong and Follow Me Around.

  • York BLUES!

  • magic

  • this song has been gettin me through some tough times this week...thankyou Mr. Yorke.

  • Reminds me of a cross between "Reckoner" & "Follow Me Around". Just beautiful.

  • TOM YORKE .... THE KING!

  • watch video @ TheRaydiohead channel

  • Well first it's an acoustic version, made 10 months ago! So I don't really think they already put the music on the words at this time!

  • Go play some Pac Man and not bathe for a week ya pansy

  • This version is stellar. I prefer the album version on TKOL though...

  • terrible......boring

  • @scottwells91 your mother last night was terrible and boring...

  • i will sneak myself into your pocket

invisible, do what you want, do what you want

i will sink and i will disappear...

  • go on tour

  • watch two new RADIOHEAD-Videos in my youtube channel!!!

  • IT SOUNDS JUST LIKE RADIOHEAD!!! =)))

  • Strong rumours in UK that King of Limbs is the first half of a double album. Give it time, it takes a few listens, but its genius

  • This version sounds a lot like Follow Me Around... the Album version has more variety i find.

  • @PunkAndFun Nope. It's better than The Bends, Pablo Honey, and Hail to the Thief

  • @PunkAndFun

You'd think after living a good chunk of life you'd realize how music albums work. Especially of bands you like. They start off low and then get better on their own.

  • Today is going to be fantastic. New Radiohead album, beautiful skies, a little over half a tank of gas...you can't ask for a better day.

  • EARLY RELEASE KING OF LIMBS. YES PLEASE.

  • yeah!

  • listening to album, massive fan, but there is no fast up tempo songs like reckoner, find it hard to say but im disappointed...sorry

  • @kearneygiggs really? sorry you feel that way, man. i'm listening to the album as we speak as well and I happen to love it. I think its definitely one of my favorites. but then again, i stuck with them through the Kid A, OK computer switch as well. So...i'm sure the top 40 charts have something that you would like.

    kidding, dont cry.

but for real its really good. spin it a few times

  • @kearneygiggs what about Little by Little?

  • the guitar part and the falsetto melody reminds me of the part in "O' Brother, Where Art' Though?" when the trio is bedding down for the night with "Robert Johnson" (the black guitar player) and he plays a song very similar in style to this by the campfire. It was really catchy in the movie, i even considered borrowing it.

  • @Rebelhoss85 Hard Time Killing Floor Blues, good stuff

  • @jirdimaster Wow, thanks for naming this song for me!! i guess i could of done some research, but ive always wanted to have this song in my collection. Can you hear the similarities in style?

  • @Rebelhoss85 Ya similar chords and tuning

  • he sounds alot like jeff buckley on this, his voice has gotten better as his career has gone on.

  • @DRUMMERLORD95 the sound is reminiscent of Jeff Buckley... R.I.P. (makes sense as Thom is a self-proclaimed admirer of the late, great JB), but with less soul/RnB influence and more... well... more Thom. as a song writer myself, the simplicity of Thom's melodies blow my mind... And /agree at Thom's voice getting better. He was great back in the day but now he's pushing the envelope... and who can't love that?
