The best "Churrasco" (barbecue) of world is from Rio Grande do Sul ( state in south of Brazil and land of the founders of Fogo de Chao ) and from Argentina and Uruguay. The region of this 3 places, are called "Pampa", land of the "Gauchos", people who have cultural origin to make good barbecues. The first "churrascarias" are from here. Sorry bout my english, i'm 14 and studing it yet.
Ate at Fogo in Chicago last summer. Took my girlfriend on a date there. The best dinner I've EVER had. And I'm not just saying that. I would suggest Fogo to any guy out there that wants to take a girl out for a really nice and unique experience. Would suggest black pants and button up but no tie. You could get away with casual just don't dress like a slob. Total for 2, counting valet, 4 or 5 drinks each, dinner and tip will run about $180.00 Give or take. Worth every penny.
You know, I see people there with full suits and ties, and then i see people with athletic shorts and a cotton t-shirt...being glared at by those in suits and ties...but....
What the hell ARE you supposed to wear to the place? Ive gone in the standard t-shirt and jeans the two times I've been.
@lawrencetimmons94 Casual nice would be the standard. Went last summer and wore grey slacks, white buttin up, black shoes. Some people were dressed nicer and some much more casual.
im a gangster from chicago me and my boys go in there drop at least 3,000 just between 4 of us and last time we left with the girl host hahahahaahahah its true.. you know what happend
My sister's boyfriend just went there for a business whatever you want to call it. With food, drinks, and dessert, the total was about $11,000. He explained the whole diner to me. It sounds very interesting and I would like to go some day.
I just went there and the service is tremendous they take care of you like put your coat on the chair for you if you go to the salad bar they hand the plate for you and there very nice people too and it cost 50 bucks per person all you can eat plus the drinks or whatever so go there and you will have a very good time :)
