You know that used to scare me when I was little. I don't know why, but that Screen Gems sound would come out and I'd cover my ears until it was over. Another one that scared me was someone with a hammer and metal thing like The Flintstones used. It carved out a VII and Universal music came out. I thought a snake would come out of the rock, come in my house and bite me.
When I was 2, that son of a bitch logo scared me for over 10 years!! I had nightmares about any closing program and then the logo came and sucked me in the tv devouring my soul! I woke up screaming like a bitch! Most of my nights were very disturbed and awoken at the hour of three having a hell of a hard time going back to sleep. Thank you for sharing this and making fun of it. It looks even satanic and evil in the eye of the logo. Never thought that I would share this with anyone.....
Hey, Those 3 SG logos(at 2:23,2:26, and at 2:30 would make three perfect variations, if only it were real, and if Screen Gems were still around after 1974. But oh well, 5/5!
I liked the GE Screen Gems Logo! Too Bad GE Merged NBC with Universal instead.I guess they needed to buy Seagrams to complete the deal! They can then say they also have a music company to fire back at Sony BMG,Sony owns Screen Gems Currently(The Studio in Hollywood)I think they even retired the Torch Lady except for movies, replaced by the Sony Logo instead.Great Share and Creative too!
actually once I researched a lil... while it was true Coca-Cola took over the ScreenGems/Columbia, it didn't appear tagged as a "ScreenGems" logo, it was on the Columbia picture the Coca-Cola got tagged as it went Columbia Pictures(ScreenGems)>ScreenGems>CTP>Columbia>Columbia/Coke>Coca-Cola>Columbia>Columbia(Sony)>Sony
To those who can not understand why some fear these logos. bear in mind that we were young when we saw these, and most likely we watched them at 2am when we were supposed to be asleep. at that time of night, anything weird + being sleepy could be construed as scary.
i still fail to see what is so creepy about this. of course im not from the era were this was being used. the old viacom logo certainly is fairly freaky though, even to me.
Does the music that plays during the "Teshawn LeVarr Edmonds Production" screen come from Reeves Entertainment Group? That music appears at the end credits of syndicated episodes of _Gimme a Break!_, and is immediately followed by the MCA-TV music and logo (which you parody here).
where do you get all the logos from? that's hot on how you did all the logos on your site. I laughed my azz off on the universal spoofs. great job overall, i give it a 10!!!
"Scarf Gems"! ROFL! By the way, have you ever seen the old Columbia Pictures Television logo where the letters combine themselves to make a Cyrillic letter? It's on YouTube in a couple of places!
LOL - this was awesome Teshawn! I had to laugh at the Septa Gems logo - I live in Jersey and took the Septa train once to get to North Philly. Excellent work!

Great Job On The "Screen Gems" & MCA/Universal Logos! Can you do Fox(20th Century Fox)& MGM?

I fear the 20th Century Fox TV logos, so I am not doing so.

@TeshawnEdmonds Why to fear? Because of the slanted Zero 20th century fox? There's nothing to be feared off...

The REG theme you have on the beginning of your clip.
You wouldn't happen to have a YouTube clip of the REG ident with that theme?
