  • It must be a kind of primal urge. I took in a baby jackdaw that had fallen from its nest and my Orange Wing proceeded to preen it!

  • thank you for the massage, ....let's eat now !!!

  • Daily dose of pleasure given. Thou may leave without being eaten.... for now....

  • don't pay attention to all of the naysayers, it's nice that these two get along. I have an african grey and 3 cats, which I don't leave unsupervised of course, but my grey does yell at my cats all of the time- knows each one by name and everything. She does share her peanuts with my one cat, throws them on the floor for him. Each family is different, and the interaction between cats & birds CAN be cute if you're careful! nice video!

  • Nice birdy to clean the kitty. :)

  • and this morning, my bird purposely called the cat over to him just so he could pull his whiskers out and laugh. My cat started crying and ran to me. "who needs children when I've got you two..."

  • aw!! I wish my cat and my bird got along like that!! My pets like to mess with each other all the time. I can't trust them at all together. Just the other day my cat snuck over to my bird's cage and pulled his tail feathers while he was sleeping just enough to piss him off. I watched him do it and in the blink of an eye he was across the room like "I didn't do nothing to the bird...he's crazy..." meanwhile the bird's got his feathers flattened, his crest up like "wtf was that!!"

  • LOL...he's preening the cat. Welp, they're bonded! Nicely done!

  • Awww, that is so sweet! It can be dangerous to leave birds and cats together, even with supervision, but clearly these two know each other and are comfortable enough around one another that it's not a problem. True they still shouldn't be left alone together without someone keeping an eye on them, but with someone there just in case I don't think it's dangerous at all.

  • How sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So sweet! I love them! ♥__♥

  • It's adorable when different animals get along so well.

  • awww they are sooo cute :)

  • Why do you all have to be so stupid? This video is nice and doesn't need you morons to be preaching about what not to do or ranting your disgusting hate of cats.

Just try to enjoy a nice thing.

  • Looks cute until your bird dies from the saliva of the cat, or the cat JUST ONCE decides to nip or swat at your bird. One puncture wound and your bird is dead in 5 minutes.

Anyone watching this DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS. It's dangerous and it's wrong for this pet owner not only to allow this behavior, but also to promote it.

  • cute

  • Awww this was so adorable!

  • dawww cute ^w^

our parrot just twitched our cats in the paws and they were really respectful to him, only to his pointy beak XD

  • It is nice to sit back and relax watching you videos..

  • cutee

  • This is insanely cute and awesome. With my love of cats and parrots I have to give this the thumb up.

  • That is gosh darn cute. The cat and the bird.

  • Cat: yes right there

Parrot: oh gosh i have to be nice and not nip the cat like i always do...

    Cat:is something wrong?

    Parrot: Oh nothing!

Cat:i wonder if the parrot taste like cat nip >:)

    Parrot:* oh gosh*

  • Are you sure that's not an aggressive action the bird is taking instead of a friendly one?

  • its almost 2 years now you uploaded this, i hope theyr still allright, and u can make a new 2011 video of them :)

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww so cute

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwww great friendship

  • one day, that cat's going to remember that it's a cat and damage that bird. we had a parrot around our cat for years...suddenly the cat turned on the bird and killed it. just like that, no warning. just instinct.

  • I can not approve of this realtionship. What would their children look like?

  • This is so sweet!

  • "BRAINS!"

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww those babies :))

  • Of course this is adorable, but it is sooooo dangerous for the sweet parrot. Not only do the claws carry bacteria that can kill the bird over night. but the saliva is also toxic to a bird. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE speak to an AVIAN VET . I would not want you or your cat to lose this beautiful baby.

  • 5 ***** for you and your adorable pets. They really seem to love each other.........and I fell in love to both .......thank you very much for sharing

  • cute ^_^ I love inter-species friendships

  • omg the parrot bites the cat to death

  • y kitty is not biting parrot

  • I don't know but a parrot bite is very painful, I'm sure the cat doesn't think is worth the hassle. I been bitten by parrots. Uhhhh...let me tell ya...hurts like a m&^%^%&*$ and they can sure make you bleed.

  • Hope this cat doesn't decide to "play" with your bird. That bird should live to be 75 or better. This isn't a good combination. Cats aren't that concerned about what you or anyone else wants...only what they want.

  • @csphotographyKy Your absolutely right! So many incidents have noted by vets saying that people come in explaining their once most friendly cat had attacked their parrot. Accidents happen even with a great bond/relationship. Cats carry poison in their nails and saliva, they will kill a bird in 24 hours if it scratches etc.. its better to be safe than sorry. I hope people stay cautious about this.

  • true love, indeed!

  • so sweet :D

  • you don't see this everyday...cute

  • awe

  • kitty is thinking: I would so eat you if this didn't feel so goooood...yeah little lower

  • aww... thats so cute... i wish i could get my kittens and african grey to get along

  • i have one, and they are not forbidden lol

My bird bites my cat, not the other way around

  • The cat looks like hes in HEAVEN lol

  • that is very cute :)

  • cool

  • my cats are afraid of my bird. I guess they've seen me bleed too many times

  • How long have these two known each other?

  • About a year and a half, she was an inside cat, b/c when I found her the mother abandoned the litter and I didnt think she'd make it, but she did :)

  • @alchemyphoto

it doesn't matter how long they know each other. Leave the cat without food for just one day and see what happens

  • my amazon parrot April and my cat Junior are inseperable!

  • cool I like that

  • That is soooo adorable. Have never seen that before.

  • I think the parrot was surprised when he saw you. You caught them in the forbidden taboo.

  • what beautiful animals you have!

  • Thank You so much!

  • That is really cute does your amazon talk alot?

  • Yes, he talks alot, he laughs and coughs like humans, it's quite humorous.

  • is this rascal flatts that i hear??? they are a wonderful band! no wonder the parrot and the kitty get a long :)

  • Yeah he likes Rascal Flatts, he LOVES all country music

  • Awe! :)

  • a bird and cat getting along you don't see that everyday, great video!!

  • i wish my birdie that looks the same did that with my dog.....its so nice how animals get along together these days...well my dog try's to eat my bird

  • but my birdie's a lot smaller than that maybe 3 quarters of the size or maybe even half the size

  • Oh my gosh. That's great. Beautiful animals, and they get along so well.

  • Thank you! The cat is an outside cat and I let her inside occasionally so they can bond.

  • That is very sweet!
