This is not a gay musical. It's actually a Guy friendly musical.This is one of my favorite musicals. I saw Chuck Wagner when he premiered this show in Houston at the Alley Theatre and for Theatre Under The Stars. Definitey the Best Eve!. I've seen it with Rob Cuccioli, David Hasseloff and others. Chuck is the one and only Orignal Jekyll/Hyde!.

If people at your school are giving you crap about this musical being "gay", just ask them what is more homosexual: Putting on tight pants and rolling around in the dirt with a bunch of sweaty men and then showering with them afterwards, or being in a show where you get to make out with a rich guy's daughter, then kill a bunch of people, then do it with a whore, then marry the rich guy's daughter. I think that will pretty much put a lid on it. =)

I saw Chuck perform this role where I live. He was incredible. In person this was amazing. The audience freaked. Fantastic. I'll never forget that show.
