She still needs to be in jail. Anyone else would be. You can be the nicest person in the world and you would still be in prison. A tv show and books shouldn't get you out of anything. It goes to show it's all about who you know, and the justice system can be manipulated.

usually I agree that celebrities get special treatment but didn't she go to jail for selling off her stock just at the right moment. When I heard about it, I dont think she or anyone for that matter should have gone to jail. If you got good business skills and a hot tip why not.

What was the main issue is that no one was supposed to know about that. Especially if someone within a company that had plans to bankrupt, merge, etc. informed everyone else outside then the stock market could be manipulated. The stock market isn't intended to be manipulated by stock holders. That would be like knowing someone working at the lotto and they gave you 4 of the 5 numbers that were going to drawn.
