Motorcycle engines and snowmobile engines were not made for pulling. It's obvious. I think I saw a few 3 cyl yanmars in this vid and it appears to me they were the best pullers.

@DieselnutN14 These guys are trying to lug the motorcycle engines. The guys that pull around here SCREAM those those things...most of the time they are bumping the rev limiter....nothing like hearing a GSXR 1000, R1, or 1300R at full rev...

@DieselnutN14 I think your generalizing quite a bit. Snowmobile engines are excellent for pulling. Mines over 200 HP and 120 lbs torque. Plus they shift out as your going down the track.

u can put a v8 but u have to watch how it works though

in larger classes you can get bigger motors im not sure whats the limit for these tractors

@3Jx yes you can put v8 in tractors we have one and we use the car drive line the tranny rearend cluh our trans is bolted up to the for 9 inch

some people upgrade the motor that comes with the lawnmower or they put jet engines 0:30 , motorcycle 0:54, snowmobile 2:38, or anything that fits in the rules and each class has different rules.
