Pretty much as I remember it. I was there. VH, even though I always liked them..sucked. My friends and I walked out after a few songs and when people started lighting trash on fire. The fumes of burning trash and plastic coupled with their sorry performance were too much. Besides, the Scorpions rocked. NO way they were ever going to upstage those guys.

@Spankityspank1 I don't remember the jets but I do remember trying to leave that parking lot, it took us about 4 hours to literally go about 500 yards, I fell asleep and work up in basically the same place. LOL. We had a motel about an hour or so outside of the concert and got to it at about 5AM. I was a drag cause it was one of the only nights we had a motel, we were sleeping in the car and travelling all over California. I could go on as well. lol Man those were the days brother!

My buddy and had tickets for the three days and by the last day I was DONE! it seemed everyone who was anyone was at that show. I have pictures tucked away from that trip. We flew in from Canada to see it and it was my first real trip to the states as well. I was a WIDE EYED kid at the time but MAN did we party!

I was at this concert, I remember these guys coming in on a helicopter. I was standing by the fence when they walked by and was thrilled to be so close to them.lol I was 19 at the time so that was important to me. I remember it was hot as hell there and every 45 min or so they'd hit us all with the water cannons that were layout out over the field.
