Great vid and most pics were clear too, except one or two close-ups, you do know where the "macro" button is on the camera? You can get unbelievable close ups with that.
nice informative video, I still think jack mitering is tedious, for my it's faster and easier if I don't have the knife to cope it on a shaper to make a flat panel style, c&s or pocketscrewed and apply that profile as a molding.
You're right bps092, jack mitering is tedious. At our shop, we don't jack miter much. I was trying to help the home hobbyist that doesn't have all 'the right tools'. We actually use a hauncher to do our jack miters for us. We also use a Tiger Stop on our hauncher when we are doing wall paneling. Talk about a time saver. I'm going to upload a short clip on the hauncher next. If you own a woodworking shop, this is a must have tool.
