I cried and cried. We have our third Dachshund now, who nearly died last year of a back disorder. He is fine now. Our first two dogs became old, 14,7 and 15 years respectively.

Your video helped me say goodbye to my girl, Annabelle. I cried when i saw this, not only because of the power of the love you had for jimmy, but also how brave you both were. This helped me plan for my little ones last day, she got a car ride, a mcnugget, and passed with her favorite toy and blanket with her. I hurt so much sometimes, others i smile at my memories. I am very sorry for your loss and hope you find comfort in knowing Jimmy is now at peace, with a new friend to play with.

We just lost our 6 year old American Bulldog/Pit Bull mix Murphy to a very aggressive cancer on Sept 2, so this especially hits home for me! You will meet again some day. Of that I am sure.
You guys are incredible pet parents. You can see the love you have for him spills over on him. It's not how long they live - it's the quality of life they live and Jimi had quality!

My heart goes out to you guys. The video was really nicely done. I just had to put my Rottie of 15 years to sleep a month ago, and it was THE most difficult thing I've ever had to do. I stayed with her the entire time, and made sure I was the last person she saw. We did the pawprint garden stone too! Her last meal was steak and marshmallows. ;p A month later, I rescued a beautiful 2-year old Rottweiler, and she's brought a lot of smiles back to my house. It's tough...I know.
As I type this, I am sobbing. You two have put together one of the most amazing, beautiful and well done tribute I have ever watched. Losing a beloved friend is heartbreaking. You never get over it, you just get through it. I held my Lab Jake and cradled him through his journey. Pets make us better people. Just know that he is waiting for you at the rainbow bridge. I can imagine there may have been days since Jimi's passing that make you frustrated. well Just imagine this. you're working at Skytel Inventory one day and you finally finish one of the worst days you'll ever had you find out you're one of the lay offs and that was your lastday...you come home to find out your mother took your dachsund to vet and had him put to sleep without telling you a word or letting you say goodbye. at least you got to say goodbye to yours.

My husband and daughter had to take my 13 year old Doxie, Gilead, to the er vet for severe respiratory distress. 10-28-11
I was in the hospital recovering from emergency surgery. I didn't get a last hug, last kiss or last I love you :-(((
But through your video I got to experience a good bye of sorts. For that I am grateful and thank you.
