ah but the mac is a proper sub machine gun, the M11 is the smaller 9mm version which is more like a machine pistol, for CQB skirmishing the M10 is better for the larger magazine capacity that electric allows for. if you use high caps then you can all but iliminate in combat mag changes and duel weld the mac10's. the M11's cant be duel welded efficiently as the constant mag changes are a pain with a gun in each hand.

oh, and remember KWA's are prone to bolts breaking but TM is very reliable

They are different models. Technically speaking they are pretty much the same: they both fire from an open bolt position using the same cycling system. The only major difference is that the real M10 (airsoft model being the TM Ingram .45 M10 shown in the video) chambers a .45 ACP round and the M11 (airsoft model being the KSC gas RPB .308 M11) chambers a .308 Auto (9mm K) round. There are several real models in several different calibres. Many of which have calibre conversion kits available.

Hey John, yeah I know about their review but thanks anyway. It's because their review is kinda vague and clashes with one I read on arnie's airsoft a while ago that caused me to come here and ask outright in the hopes that someone would give some useful info. I just wish some reviewers would bother to actually list in detail and not just generalise. I, for one, love to cover everything when someone asks me about my guns or is interested in buying one and wants to know what they're like. Cheers.

Oh well, thanks for your input mate, you've been really helpful. The Steyr? I like it but I think the M10/11s look more raw/crude. I like that look and feel -- like it's just been designed and built fast for one gritty purpose. The TMP/SPPs look too "tactical" for my liking like the HK MP7. They've had time for 'practicality' and 'comfort' to be integrated into the guns. Don't get me wrong, they are lovely guns but I like the grit of the M10/11s. Anyway, cheers=D

Mmmm well yeah, they can do but it DOES depend on the size of your hand/fingers. The KSC M11s grip's comfortable but the space on the top of your hand between your index finger and thumb can get a bit sore from the rubbing on the lower receiver after a while. But if you're wearing fingerless gloves it's no problem. Plus if you make the gun full metal there is no seam line on the lower receiver to rub and the metal won't stick to your skin as much.

But since the M10 is a larger gun and has a bigger grip due to the .45ACP calibre I don't know if this issue affects the gun. Also the TM M10 is pretty light so that's also a factor. I don't know, I guess I will if I get the gun but in the meantime or until someone brings out a metal kit for it I won't know...Shame really. *Sobs*:-(

The Mac-10 is prettty crappy. It's made of pretty much all metal. They have to brag that the trigger is metal 'cause most of the gun is plastic. And Echo 1 sucks. If you want a real airsoft gun, go with Classic Army, ICS, VFC, or G&P, or better yet, Systema.
