@MrsKoffer if u noticed at he beginning of the video kurts looking back at the sound man he was getting the right sound coming out of the amps like he wanted so kurt being kurt hed get upset because he was very mellow dramatic when his music didnt comeout the way he wanted....he did this in many other concerts
My uncle Rob saw them 7 times in 3 years. Son of a bitch. A man who used to come in my work said he delivered pizza to them in ohio at their hotel. Son of a bitch!
i was supposed to be at this show but my mom was a bitch back then and i was not allowed to go with my cousin then he died a few months later i was so pissed at mom for a long time
@jacxdaless It was okay, the show was fine but I couldn't enjoy it the way I wanted to because of the company I was with. I could have worked load in for the show and met the guys but I was late because of the person I was with. Those are the breaks.
@jacxdaless I keep all of my ticket stubs from the concerts I went to but with this one they took your ticket and gave you a wristband, I tossed it when I got home. If I had the stub I would have given it to you. This would have been the last show that I worked had I shown up on time. Got free tix anyway...
I never thought I'd see video of Kurt throwing down one of his favorite guitars. Wow. (Coincidentally this is probably the closest they ever came to where I live but I was only two years old then so I wouldn't have been able to go)
Yeah, This was his main one though. Right? The red one was a backup. Oh and come to think of it I remember he threw the red one down in the middle of playing "Drain You" on the NPA appearance in early February '94.
Yes, I recall pictures of the Red Mustang with a red pickguard but it had a white one for the NPA performance. I almost got it confused with the blue one which had a tortoiseshell pickguard.
I lived in Scranton and my friend Chris Case and I went to this show. I remember the Japanese Band and The Breeders. I made it up front when Nirvana was on stage and I had Die Hard work boots on. When I was crowd surfing I hit the security guard in front with my boots and got roughed up by security. My seat was 18.50...a fortune back then! I did not appreciate them as much as I should have.
your ticket to see nirvana was eighteen dollars and fifty cents?
wow its like 80 bucks to see an arena rock show, and you cant even smoke inside of em anymore, at least the last one iwent to, i went and saw STP reunion show last year, at the HARDROCK it was 80 bucks, security everywhere you looked, they would come over and tell me, if you light up one more cigarette your out, so i blew smoke in the guys face and fuckin left, i was soooo fuckin iritated, ill never go to an arena show again!!!
I'm sure he had plenty of those too. This vid shows the original mustangs. You can tell by the upper horn shape. Not sure if u were just kidding, sorry I'm a chronic corrector.

Throwing down a Fender Mustang is like throwing down a human body.

what song was this?
KateCutter 3 years ago
First one is Radio Friendly Unit Shifter then Drain You.
AshleyNirvana 3 years ago
I think it's Krist saying "You're a fine lot!" to the audience, for whatever reason; probably because they're waiting whilst Kurt gets a new guitar.
AshleyNirvana 3 years ago
I've watched this video like five times in a few days! Drain You sounds, I don't know, really good. At the start especially.

Wow, Kurt had a LOT of Fender Mustangs!
