You make a very compelling point and one I haven't heard articulated before. Tech savvy people do frequent blogs. Just the other day I was frustrated that a site wouldn't let me download a so-called "podcast" only stream it. It annoyed me so much I went through their HTML to find the podcast URL and downloaded it manually. (Ironically it was on a site about social media. FAIL!)
