  • or get chrome and disable noscript.

  • But I have a MAC!

  • Extra Power..

  • @AbelleAlaire The answer to your question is: Linux! Or Ubuntu specifically. But in general, there are a lot of OS's out there besides the latest Windows, which is indeed only designed to run on the latest hardware, because they are competing with Mac for large business deals as well as consumer sales. Even Google's Chrome OS is a good option for non-power users, but I think it's based on Linux too!

I know software which shows green signal if it's trustworthy & red if not....... viewers (users) are of all kinds, mischievous, dirty, ugly, disturbing but many are trustworthy with facebook for their personnel relationship.

  • What if... i have a mac ._.

  • @stefan98TH Unix based systems aren't entirely immune to viruses and spywares. You could get one if you wanted to. Then again, all these warnings and whatnot are so exagerated and stupid. I haven't used an antivirus software in more than 10 years (on windows) and I've never had a problem so far, simply because I don't open virus.exe on purpose... And I do visit fishy websites ;).

  • is he reading?

  • totallynotavirus . org SEEMS LEGIT

  • @ipaqmaster HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    no

  • or just get a mac

  • @airshill Not for long... More viruses are arriving for mac

  • @ObserversEye Lol thats a bit though PCFanboy

  • @AssasinsGamer454 I don't hate mac... I only like PC more because its good for what I do (and its not just gaming).

  • @airshill

Yeah dude, OSX is being invaded more and more. The old reason to get an Apple PC is getting worn out by it's increasing popularity. Hackers are starting to pay attention to OSX. Soon enough, you my friend, will need anti-virus.

  • Download Avast :)

  • or use firefox with NoScript

  • @cmommsen1 or use chrome with noscript

  • @KevKevFuuuuu NoScript is not developed for Chrome. I searched Chrome's webstore and got NotScript, ScriptNo, NotScripts, and ShowIP. Maybe you installed one of those? If so, i recommend you remove it, clearly it's malware! lol jk

  • Thank you Google :D

  • Do not install multiple Antivirus they tear each other apart and render each other useless..

  • havent been antiviruses for 5 years now.. you just need ti know what you're doing.. if someone sends you aa link to a picture an you get .exe file you should know its a virus.. if i hawe to reinstall windows is mostly because i try do force it to do something he dowsnt wand.. and then delete files and we're formating :)..

  • NOTE FOR NUMBER 3. Even if the sender is your friend, he/she could be infected and the malware is sending on behalf of them. Be sure to respond with a personal question that only they know, to check if it's really them.

  • An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).

I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.

My BLOG @ samzurick*dot*com contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers". THANKS!!

  • GOOGLE IS A FREE MASON ILLUMINATI

  • @ps3animalfunds

You are wrong, the Illuminati has no use for Google...

Every building made from brick is made by masons...

They leave encrypted Reptilian messages in every brick known to man that is then deciphered into modern day malware and viruses. Only Chuck Norris can save us.

  • No thanks, I Use Linux, Fedora FTW!!

  • Step one --> Install Linux.

Step two --> Sit back and enjoy your new malware-free computer :-)

  • if you don't wish to do all that rubbish (about anti-virus software) he just said!

  • thanks goooooogle :)))))))))))

  • He says 'report malware sites to us', but doesn't say how.

I have a problem with Yahoo installing itself as my default search engine. Everyday I delete from the list of search engines and choose Google to be the default. But a couple of hours later, it's yahoo again.

  • @saeidmomtahan This is probably malaware as he says download avira antivirus software and scan see if you can find and and if so make sure it deletes it. If that doesn't work then you could just try re installing your browser or if you have IE8 download IE9.

  • @gi880ngommit

    Thanks, I'm on Chrome

  • @saeidmomtahan use HITMAN PRO is the best and free for 30 days

  • @TheCyberShinobi Its actually a hacker who knows a lot more about another hacker....he might have some valuable information you know :)

  • How to protect your computer from malware: DONT USE GOOGLE.

  • Sooooo i keep doing everything just as i am doing till now?

  • I am just ROFLing @ Google, all of the sudden Google become an AntiVirus company ? specialized in Malware ? LMFAO, Google, leave it to Kaspersky Lab / ESET / Symantec, and keep working on your Gmail.

  • @NoShit12 What are you talking about, you are a complete idiot. They ARE leaving it to kaspersky/eset/symantec. He even states that you will need an antivirus program to get rid of viruses...

Google has some of the most brilliant minds in the world working there, I'm sure that even includes computer security specialists.

They never claim to be security specialists though, they just offer this "very basic" computer security video to help the public. Be thankful, dick.

  • @RadGH Google sucks, they're not even smart at all, the only person in Google who is smart is the one who is acutally doing all the hard engineering work, a few probably, the rest are blowing each other.

Everyone already know the basic of Malware 101, it's common sense to install an AV and not to download untrusted files you fucking mother fucker idiot. we weren't born yesterday.

  • daqui a um tempo o google lança o próprio anti-vírus

  • Now, why does it have to be a company like Google that actually makes one of these simple, two minute basic advice videos, when the people mostly responsible (software company that wrote the OS and/or OEMs) are dead silent?

  • TECHNICAL ADVICE: Please backup all your important files on a separate disk and use a separate partition (or disk) for storing data. Make an image of an healthy, fully functional window installation with all your programs installed. Every week/month reload that image (frequency depends on your job and/or paranoia). Home PC's users who like to download and click any clickable link on the internet I recommend: Sandboxie. Look it up.

  • @k509e ikr? Aren't you only supposed to use one do they don't detect each other and blow up?

  • Google are normally good at technical videos but they missed an important one.

They didnt mention a very common & very nasty piece of malware.

You may be able to detect it yourself. When your PC starts up, does it say

    "Welcome to Windows" :)

  • Sorry did he just say use more than 1 anti-virus??

  • Watch this video before buying a Mac!

  • The Key note of this video use linux :)

  • @sainathi34 Or Chrome OS.....

  • @sainathi34 Or common sense 2011

  • @sainathi34 isn't it goggle docs???

  • Comment removed

  • I have owned my PC for four years without one virus at all, and I have no anti-virus software either, you basically don't use Internet Explorer and don't be a moron while using the Internet (contrary to popular belief, porn sites have malware...) follow these steps and you won't have to deal with those severely annoying and disruptive anti-virus software.

  • @BlindMangoTV It's still good to at least use Microsoft Security Essentials since it's free, well integrated into Windows, and doesn't ever interrupt you or anything, you won't even notice it's there (except for the icon on the system tray).

  • Very nice inforommations. jones.lucyr@gmail.com

  • Pfff! -.- goodness I got a Mac, breathing easy since then

  • @racsito39 Just saying, Macs have malware too.

  • @racsito39 Macs have malware. As they become more popular and used by users who are on average more well of (wealthy) and unaware of the falsity of "Macs are free of viruses" they are being targeted.

    So, beware O_O

  • the music makes me feel like I Want Malware ... but Jeremy makes me realize he is a dip - and I Don't Want.

@amazoneon No; in fact, you are full of shit.

    So, beware o_O.

  • @racsito39 Lol...an iFag

  • @racsito39 Another misinformed Mac user that doesn't think his shiny computer is incapable of getting malware/viruses/etc... I only with that Mac users actually knew about their computers (not just the fact that it's shiny) before actually buying such overpriced hardware. You'll find that it's actually on level in terms of advantages and disadvantages of a Windows 7 PC for double the price.

  • You know what I love? This could be a perfect time to plug in Google Chrome and promote it, but instead they focused on an informative video that's not self serving.

  • @AmunRa1

retitle the video "Google makes their first PSA"

  • Hes... Reading of a script.

  • @RagingSqwuirrel Everyone does that.

  • @RagingSqwuirrel

Would you want to remember that whole speech? Of course he's reading it.

  • I remember that I open a Malware website that someone gave me at my Blogger but my brother get rid of it... well, thanks to this video, now I know more about it... :)

  • Gmail, Google Voice, Google+, Google Docs, Google Groups... I really hope Google Anti-Virus is next and this is the preview.

  • @Esebi95 your a pirate, your not meant to understand. ;)

  • This video is perfect for a explaining to people that may not have good knowledge like in schools and is useful on helping to create a simple explanation in your own words of what malware is for your college work or whatever. So he done pretty good there. Ok, funny being google, but so what, it explains it simply

  • upgrade to latest os? well looks like it's time to say bye to my comador 64!

  • Wtf is this? Google has only 21K viewers?? Unbelievable..

  • 0:17 PORN!!

  • @0:17 PORN!!

  • chuck norris wall paper works bcoz it makes virus think twice.

  • thank ye...

  • Even better protection from malware:

    1. Install Freebsd.

    2. Be an admin.

    3. Check once every month.

  • malware > virus

  • 2 steps how to protect your computer from malware:

    1. Linux

    2. Don't be a dumbass

  • thats why i love Ubuntu generally no viruses and to updated you just need one click and you have the newest versions of all your software

  • Very good advice. I will report sites in future. Thanks.

  • this is a teaser for their new product... ANTI VIRUS.!

  • I think that is correct title for this video must to be "How to protect your computer with Windows OS from malware"...

  • Just a tip: Next time put the telepromter (or whatever you are using for reading off the text) more in the same direction as the camera - and not so much up right from the cam. ;-)

  • nice shirt mate !!!

  • malware is kool. i like it

  • google needs to make anti-google software

  • @Mikeyz94 hahaha hahaha hahah oh oh so funny......wait no it wasn't.....

  • Google must post a version of this video (and future videos) without this happy-casual-cool-mcdonalds-song.

  • damn why dont we ever here about the funder of Google!? That guy must be hellla rich!

  • Jeremy is an in the closet gay, so one must be cautious when taking his "advice".

  • Bit Defender has scanned over 2500 items and 30 infected. Thanks for these tips, though most I already knew.

  • @SatanicMuffn bitdefender 2012 is the best antivirus software I have used. stick to it like glue.

  • @mahballzrhari Yea, it deleted all 31 infected files, and I can already see the difference! It's noticeably quicker.

  • Using Ubuntu, or even using a Limited/Standard Account in Windows 7 is more preferable than "being in Administrator mode all day" - either of those previous 2 things will prevent most of the mal-ware from spreading, since it takes almost no user input (within admin) to get infected. Change your habits, your computer's accounts, and you stand a better chance of survival - yet from what I am seeing, you don't hear about this enough. USER ACCOUNTS People. :)

  • Google needs to make an awesome anti-virus software!

  • @Proman2 google need make it one anti virus all google do are awesome!

  • Comment removed

  • @Proman2 Then they WOULD own the internet....

  • @abobeck but mac's fail so hard
